I started wondering since we apparently have an African American president, would it be fair to say that discrimination is over? I sort of feel sorry for the KKK because our liberal secular government seems to be picking on them as though the Negros and homosexuals didn't win the election. YOUR THOUGHTS???

Re: Is Discrimination a Thing of the Past? A Poll!
Well I certainly hope discrimination isn't a thing of the past! Because God's Holy Word prescribes it!
Rom. 16:17: Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
Revelation 20:14-15 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

We can only hope that God will open the eyes of our elected leaders and reinforce the fact that there is no way but His way.
Alas I am afraid it will be a lesson hard learned through many plagues God will send just as he did against the Pharoh's.
What form of modern plagues? I shudder to think.
It is bad enough to have a nigra president. Half breed at that. The slaves have come full circle and now one is on his way to the White house.1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

It would be a shame if there were no more discrimination. As if being forced to hire mexicans & lezbos wasn't bad enough, businesses will have to hire catholics & mormons. This will destroy our Godly capitalist system & pave the way for full-scale communism, you'll see.

Are you referring to prejudice or discrimination? I don't think our church has to worry about being discriminating; doing so only jeopardizes federal matching funds, and Landover doesn't need those.
I don't think it's possible to end prejudice. Even liberal fascists who claim to support ending discrimination are guilty of being prejudiced against those whom they hate.

To hate as God commands is NOT and NEVER HAS BEEN discrimination.
It's obeying the words of our Creator.

Discrimination has been a thing of the past ever since the Puritans came to America. Here, they founded a new and Godly nation.
Unfortunately, now there is new discrimination in the last few decades, against Godly Christians like us.

Re: Is Discrimination a Thing of the Past? A Poll!
There's really only one form of prejudice that's considered socially acceptible in the United States, and that's anti-Christian bigotry, fomented by the Jew-controlled mainstream media in New York to further their left-wing, anti-God agenda. It's an unfortunate fact that this persecution is allowed to take place, indeed is often encouraged, but it is only to be expected, given that people will go to extraordinary lengths to hold onto their irrational, anti-Christian beliefs.
We should, of course, fight this persecution of Christians with all of our heart and all of our resources, but it is nothing new, and we will never be able to root it out entirely. As the Apostle Paul said in 2 Timothy 3:12, "all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution."

Re: Is Discrimination a Thing of the Past? A Poll!
Discrimination is best left to the era where people did not know any better. Maybe making fun of Black people was fun back then, it is over now. No one likes discrimination, and now that people are more civilized, we can put our prejudice behind us. The Bible may perscribe it, Zeke, but the bible is an ancient book. You live today, and you have today's laws and standards to conform to. You cannot torture yourself by living in the past forever.

Re: Is Discrimination a Thing of the Past? A Poll!
Bathfire, today we are civilized because we have more rights. We have different ways of doing things, and we constantly question and learn more about the world, as healthy minds do. You might see from my signature that I do not deny the existence of God, but I have doubts that it is an entity with a personality. If God does exist, then it exists as an impersonal force. I believe that all of our tragedies are caused by ourselves, and can be reversed by ourselves.
I am not leading anyone from God, believe in God as much as you like. It is not like I care, remember, personal choices. If you make your own personal choices (like believing in God and going to church) then as a rule, you must also accept that other people have the capacity to make personal choices in their lives (even if that involves being gay, or being atheist). Since no one is persecuting you for being christian, you should not persecute anyone for being non christian.
And the Bible may be timeless, but it also tells us to obey the law of the land, so there. That means no witch hunts or fag drags.
Living in the past (if you define that as following God's word, so be it) is torture because as modern humans, we are exposed to new ideas, new practices, and new ideologies daily. So, if you live in the past, you might run to your closet and hide, crying and laying in a fetal position, sucking your thumb. If I where to go back in time with a cell phone, to the Dark Ages (where the abundance of christians seems characteristic) I would most likely be burned to death. What I'm trying to say is, if you adopt modern technology (and you have, since you are reading this through a monitor) then you must also adopt modern practices and knowledge (you cannot just say "This screen shows words because God has blessed it with that ability")
And my final point, modern ideology is, discrimination=bad. Tolerance and acceptance=good.
Even the witches seem to get that right.
