    Russians, Chinese Hackers Invade US Power Grid

    Cyberspies have penetrated the U.S. electrical grid and left behind software programs that could be used to disrupt the system, according to current and former national-security officials.

    The spies came from China, Russia and other countries, these officials said, and were believed to be on a mission to navigate the U.S. electrical system and its controls. The intruders haven't sought to damage the power grid or other key infrastructure, but officials warned they could try during a crisis or war.
    The article explains how other disruptions to sewer and water systems are possible, and have even taken place in less-advanced countries.

    Are we looking at a potential "fire sale", as in the movie "Live Free or Die Hard"?

      Uh-huh. I guess this is the consequence of our abandoning the War on Terror. May God preserve us from the onslaught of barbarous assault that this "cyberspy" case is but the vanguard of.

          Is it time to amend the Patriot Act? There must be other freedoms that we can give up to support the War on Terror.

              I sure hope that our superior hackers have already found their way into the electricity, gas, TV, water, food and beer distribution software of these damnable commie countries and that we take retaliation first.

                          Does anyone have any hard proof that this isn't a consequence of gay marriage? I didn't think so.

                              Special thanks to Brother Temperance for this astute observation! It's all the fault of the Community Reinvestment Act, which that no-good Joo-bastard Jimmy Carter used to legalize gay marriage. Also thanks to the CRA, bin Laden was able to launch the 9/11 attacks, abortion was made mandatory for all white Christians, and this enabled ACORN to steal the election for Osambo, which in turn caused our banking system to collapse.

                              I know that all sounds complicated, but Rush Limbaugh explained it so well the other day - he sure has a way with words.
