I am so proud of our team, Secretary Hegseth and President Trump. Troops are being deployed in many places where Satan is trying to make inroads. Right now in Portland, OR, NAKED bicycle riders and preparing to ride through the city spreading their message of sin and decadence. If the troops are deployed quickly they can stop this before it starts.

This sort of things can only happen in Portland, these people have brains completely rotten by marijuana.

From the series of "this could happen only in Portland," those who protest clothed do so in costumes:

Apparently they're mascot costumes. It would be no surprise if persons wearing them still called themselves "furries" though, due to lack of awareness of language (or anything, much) but more concerning, especially at this time of year, is disrespect shown to The Dinning Sisters.

The toned body and perfect makeup Pete Hegseth is known for appeared at the Association of Christian Broadcasters this week. Nothing in more important to the security of our country than a Secretary of Defense who hates atheists. Hegseth railed against "the Godless." Knowing he will use our military to defend Jesus makes me feel we are in good hands.

In Matthew 11 we learn that wisdom is identified by what happens next, so to speak. God is teaching us more than that in this passage, for example that mockery can be expected when following Christ.

Matthew 11:19a The Son of man [Jesus] came [to Earth] eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber

Such unpleasant remarks are hurled at Christians frequently, and not in jest. Satan is determined to destroy credibility wherever he can, whether deserved or not. God recorded more details, because He loves us, tracing the progression from mocking to insulting, so that we would know.

Matthew 11:19b a friend of publicans and sinners

An insult? Sure – but very unimaginative. Even a child could do better than that: a five-year-old knows that in order to explain something (unfairness, for instance) to someone (a parent, say) there needs to be a discussion. The topic can hardly be addressed without both parties being present. But suggesting the child is itself unfair due to its association with the unfair person would be resisted strongly. The child has much to learn but in this detail is correct, just as Jesus was not Himself a sinner due to His association with actual sinners who needed to hear His message. They may not have agreed with it – but at least they heard it.

Matthew 11:19c But wisdom is justified of her children.

Pete Hegseth knows Satan will try to muddle God's good news by ridiculing the appearance of the messenger. God will not let that happen. Every picture of Jesus shows a buff, healthy and well-groomed man. Hegseth's handsome appearance is merely carrying out the war against atheists as God wants him to do.

Pete Hegseth promised he had destroyed Iran's military. He needs to recognize how embarrassing it was yesterday for President Trump to have two of our airplanes shot down by Iran. This is intolerable. In spite of how good he looks when he exits his make-up room Trump must fire him immediately. Following Hegseth's firing, President Trump may need to take over as Secretary of State himself and destroy Iran's military.

I think Pete is trying to regain favor within the Christian community after allowing Iran to shoot down a couple of his planes. He has scheduled Protestant only Easter services in the Pentagon chapel.

Meanwhile, has the pope responded in any particular way?

Pope revives decades-gone tradition on first Good Friday as pontiff

They start off with some glurge about carting a replica around "the stations of the cross," whatever they are. Fortunately for Jesus, who will not be watching anything to do with a pope, He won't be affronted by an object He presumably neither wants nor needs to see ever again. After that we get to the real meat of the matter.

"I think it will be an important sign because of what the pope represents, a spiritual leader in the world today, and for this voice, that everyone wants to hear, that says Christ still suffers," Leo told reporters this week outside of the papal retreat at Castel Gandolfo.
What is Castel Gandolfo? (That goes to a page showing the castle, formal gardens, mansion details and the pope waving but no scenic views which I'll attach later.)

A previous pope, in order to proclaim or "be" poverty, decided not to use this facility. Did he sell it? No. It sat idle pretending to be a museum. Clearly the current pontiff has revived this tradition and that is the real story. Christians have no interest hearing babble about Christ still suffering. He is in Heaven with God in glory and has been seen there.

Acts 7:55-56 [Stephen] being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, and said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

The scenery is attached, helping popes recharge their batteries in the revived tradition of actually using the holiday home.

Pete runs in good company. He is a friend of Idaho Pastor Doug Wilson. Doug has developed a big following by preaching traditional values. For example, he says we should return to our Christian roots. These roots were married women could not vote. Think of wonderful outcome from that.

I read the first paragraph of that but didn't see an answer. How many votes does the owner of a household get?

Happily, widows can vote – but is the value of her vote proportional to the magnitude of her establishment?
