I'm not opposed to homeschooling, after all I have several cousins who are being homeschooled. But there's also the fact that, in today's economy, not every family can get by on a single income which results in both parents working. In that situation, public schools being closed is certainly not a good thing.

We're talking about REAL America here dear, not illegal immigrants who don't share our values (as in the typical loser who fills a public school) They can just swim back across the Rio if the don't like freedom.

Let's look at this sensibly - more people voted for him than anyone else. Are you saying that all those people were idiots? A few people shouting in small town Wisconsin is not the way to decided terms and conditions for gravy-train public servants - that's the governor's job and he was voted in to do it.

Illegals are everywhere now Sweety thanks to Obama's lax (as in treasonous) enforcement of the migration law. Doubtless most of those "small town" protesters are high on Al Quida drugs and don't know what they are doing.

I personally agree with Scott Walker that unions nowadays are causing more harm than good in this economy, but I don't think shutting down bargaining rights was a wise decision.

While I agree on the obvious fact that Republicans would generally be in support of a Republican Governer that they elected, that census is accurate. There's not a great deal of immigrants in Wisconsin. (Keep in mind that the following photos were taken in Madison, which is much larger in population):

So what? Canadians coming here for Obama care. No REAL American is going to support a bunch of union bums who think a four year degree somehow gives then the right to $22K a year job. This is just like when the Soviets got the Air Traffic Controllers to go on strike in 1981.

I counted at least 30% illegal immigrants in those photos. I agree, that's not much compared to most of Obama's America where the number of illegals is more like 50% in most cities. But the entitlement mentality that leads everyone expect $22k PER YEAR just for doing their job is what's bankrupting America.

Think about it, $22k is pretty much the cost of a 7-day private helicopter trip around Hawaii. Do you want those fat cat teachers all flying around Hawaii on your dime?

$22K isn't "pocket/play" money. Some of those teachers have families to support, house payments, car payments, car insurance, groceries, gas bills, water bills, electric bills, etc.... Not to mention, gas prices are projected to hit $5/gallon by this summer.

There are a plentiful amount of Catholic churches here, but there are various other churches as well. In my town alone, there are 2 Baptist churches.
