Another Great Word from Sarah Palin

After her great adaptation of American to coin the new word "refudiate" which was much needed and has now fully entered the language, Sarah Palin has remarkably invented another word, "Squirmish."

See her introduce this new word in this VIDEO from God's Favorite Channel - Fox News.

Not only that but she gives new flavor and meaning to the syntax of the language! She was asked, by Greta Van Susteren what we are doing in Libya. She replied,

"I, too, am not knowing, do we use the term intervention, do we use war, do we use squirmish?"

Squirmish - a squeamish skirmish! If the GOP were in power, you too are agreeing, there would be nothing squeamish about it!

There is almost a poetry in the way she speaks.

I know a lot of people make fun of Mrs. Palin. But, to come up with new words for the English language is quite an accomplishment.

To do that takes a person of some considerable intellect.

Her command of the language is remarkable. She truly is the Shakespeare of our times. God bless and keep Sarah Palin!

Her ergative use of progresssive tenses not usually found in Germanic languages other than English, Scots and American does indeed an irrefudiateability that is difficult to out do (or be being outdone).

This type of verbal structure is only found in English and American and is of Celtic origin, being far more frequent in Irleand and Scotland's local varieties of English especially in the Scottish Highlands where the influence of the Gaelic structural forms heavily affects the English spoken there:
        'What are you wanting Donald?'
'Dé tha thu ag iarraidh, a Dhohmnuill?'
'I'm not wanting that sheep, I have my eye on the other one Calum.'
'Chan-eil mi ag iarraidh a' chaora siud, tha mo shúil air an éile, a Chaluim
