The bible was written thousands of years ago. Times change. Society as a whole has changed Meaning that a lot of what is written in it can no longer be applied to society.

God is all-powerful and all-knowing. Therefore, He knows what the Bible says and can change it at an instant.

It says what it says, so it must be what He wants us to follow.

And if this is a true fact then you are breaking the law and can go to prison for this.

Saying that you're going to commit a crime is a crime in itself.

But saying you're going to execute criminals once a law declaring them criminals subject to the death penalty is neither a crime, nor is it saying you're going to commit a crime.
