Government intervention is A Bad Thing™

It just makes me sick how our not-quite-so-Godly-anymore President is encouraging the Federal Reserve to inject itself into the glorious workings of our righteous free-market system!

If the President and the Fed would just leave their stinking hands off our Capitalism, everything would work itself out in a jiffy, with, perhaps, only a few unavoidable casualties among rust-belt retirees, those whose "houses" only have two bathrooms, and the dank bottom 65% of the American population who never *really* worked hard enough to call themselves "middle class" anyway.

This whole Bear Stearns fiasco would have just gone away, if the President's suddenly-socialist intervention policy hadn't taken YOUR taxpayer money and willfully thrown it at a failing company. I mean, really. Bear stock was $74 a month ago, yet sold today to MS for $2. What does that tell you?

THAT SOCIALISM WANTS TO DESTROY UTTERLY OUR FREE-MARKET ECONOMY!!

And friggin (excuse my French) President Bush is right there cheerleading our country's demise.

    Brother Larry, I'm shocked!

President Bush was hand-picked by Jesus, appointed to the Presidency, to save us from gay marriage, and free abortion for all, and the religious freedom of God's enemies. If you would blame someone for these horrible crimes against Capitalism, the filthy Joos running the Fed and that Vice-President Lon Chaney would be better choices than our innocent, non-economist President!

Imagine if an economist were President instead of George W. Bush! Why, an economist would say, "Homersexuals gettin' married is great! Two people in a stable relationship, buying a house, adopting unwanted Negro children and dogs and spending money on quality American goods? Perfect! It's great for the economy! They buy nice cars, too!"

That economist would say, "Unwanted children MUST be aborted! Why, otherwise American taxpayers have to pay to raise them on welfare, and then to incarcerate them when they grow up and become criminals! Didn't you ever hear that Elvis Presley song, 'In the Ghetto'?"

And what about the religious freedoms of God's enemies? He'd rub his money-grubbing Yid hands together and mutter, "More religions means more false holy books sold, more Hindu and Wiccan idols sold, more hand-crafted wooden altars to Tibetan Buddhist demons keeping woodworkers employed, more money changing hands, KA-CHING!"

I thank the Lord every day, Brother Larry, that we got a God-fearing Christian Man in the White House instead of some Mammon-worshipping economist!

I do hope you were merely momentarily frustrated with the pressing economic issues, and simply lost sight of President Bush's overwhelming successes in the battles against gay marriage, free abortion, anti-Christian religious movements, and of course against the advance of radical Islam.

I'm with Larry on this one. You can't separate the two out that simply. Big Government is a breeding ground for radical Islam. The President spending taxpayers' money on unjustifiable, immoral interventions into the free market helps encourage the growth of Socialist Security and the totalitarian welfare state, encouraging jobless scroungers to sit around being parasites. And, as we all know, radical Islamists are anarchists at heart. Have you ever met an anarchist who could hold down a job? I certainly haven't. Therefore, government intervention into the economy is helping the terrorists win.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Oh Sister Jenny, your silly female brain is faaaar more supple than that of most of your sistern, yet even your brain remains subject to the whims and endocrinally-indentured wiles of an unreliable female instrument.

Let me explain how President Bush has let us down.

He scurrilously inserted the government's dirty hand of intervention into the machinations of the most unfettered free-market on the planet, namely American investment banking. OHHHHHHHHHH, wHOA, THE HIENOUS IMmorality of what he did! How could be betray us in this way?

Rather than allowing for the market's self-regulating corrections to take effect, the President and his enablers had the audacity to force a marriage of convenience between Bear Stearns and JP Morgan – The repercussions of which will, inevitably, include encouraging the DEMONcrats to enact high-handed regulations on the investment market (and ALL OTHERS!), once they assume illegal power in November.

These are sad times for capitalism, indeed. (Also, Sister Jenny, don't ignore Brother T's manly commentary on this issue. I'm afraid you have much to learn about the brave new world of post-Republican economics.)

But, dear Brothers, you are ignoring Godly GW Bush's great efforts in bringing the dangers of the gay agenda and aborted-fetus-eating Wiccans to light in our great nation! Not to mention his redirecting of taxpayer funds into Faith-Based Initiatives, allowing Landover to collect over $10M last year alone from non-Christian taxpayers!

Surely these Godly moves help to balance out his Jew advisors' slide into Socialism. After all, he's a man of God, not of Mammon. He doesn't understand things like economics; if we wanted someone who understood Mammon instead of God, we'd have elected Al Gore!

I couldn't agree with you more. Which is why True Christians(tm) the world over are so disappointed that our formerly Godly President has allowed himself to be so powerfully influenced by the forces of evil. It's unbelievable that it could happened to a man as seemingly strong in the Lord as President Bush. But if Ted Haggard can fall, then so can Bush. We mustn't let it be a cause for stumbling in our own walk with the Lord.

I guess the following secular news article -- linked below -- is as good as anything, to give you some idea of how deeply our President has fallen -- and how gleefuly the DEMONcrats are knashing their socialist teeth:

              Brother Larry,

I think you are not looking at the big picture here like President Bush did. Why did Bear-Stevens fail? Because excessive regulation straitjacketing the free-market. This bail out is merely turning the tools of Satan back on him.

You see we Christians (Republican Baptists) have to be patient. President Bush, Hishis father GH Bush and Ronald Regan have only had 19 short years to off set the damage to the American economy that Roosevelt, Kennedy, Johnson, Carter and Clinton did over 36 years. This banking crash is just the logical result of the socialist poison in the economy and until The Day™ economic freedom rings these regrettable but necessary interventions will be have to made.

Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.

This is the government interfering with nature. All of nature is God’s domain, although Man retains dominion over it. I for one cannot understand the mentality of the President who on the one hand is rightly against human embryos being turned into Frankenstein monsters and the same President that allows these market interventions by the government.

President Bush, being a God-fearing man of innocence and light, has succumbed to the insidious advice of moral degenerates. His Demoncrat opponents have worn him down, traitors and backsliders in GOP have treacherously misled him down the track of communism, for their own fetid ends, and stabbed him in the back. Only his Faith sustains him. We must pray that he recovers sufficient strength to continue and that he may leave a shining legacy to Mr McCain.

Re: Government intervention is A Bad Thing™

                  Gentlemen:

I believe that our dear Sister-in-Christ, despite the limitations of her female brain, may be onto something. We are, after all, True Christians™ and thus True Republicans™, not lie-bertarians. We worship Our Lord Jesus Christ, not some russkie atheist harlot who wrote a few long-winded novels when she could be bothered to get out of the bed of her follower/groupie/boy-toy.

As such, we understand that a free-market economy is not truly free unless it is free to follow True Christian™ principles as laid down by Our Lord Jesus Christ through His viceroys on earth, President Bush and the Republican Party. True Republicans™ have worked hard to fight against such distortions of the free market as pandering by dzhooish businessmen to homers, Messy-can'ts, and other alleged people.

How does this relate to the Fed's involvement in the mortgage crisis? As has already been explained, the mortgage crisis is the fault of homers, feminazis, and ultimately the Clintons. As further evidence for that fact, the most visible foreclosure crisis is in Ohio, which Jesus used to ensure a second term for President Bush, so of course the politically correct America-haters are out to destory it. Our Divinely hand-picked President must therefore protect the free market from the machinations of those degenerates.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.
