I've decided to hand out little cards that have the Word of God printed on them. On side one:

I think by dressing the part, the take-home message will stay with these sweet children for a long time.

I will decorate the front porch like the God haters do to lure the children to my front door. Then when they knock and beg like democrats for candy, I'll put Chick tracts in their bags and shout Bible verses at them until they see the Light and run back to their parents' cars to share the Good News with them. So the usual.

For Jehovah's Witnesses I normally employ a bullhorn, but the little children's ears are so sensitive that I usually just rely on the robust qualities of my own voice at HELLoween time.

I am thinking of a re-enactment of the resurrection of Christ on my lawn. When the devil sees that Jesus has defeated sin and death through being risen from the grave, demons will have to flee.

I also think it will teach the trick or treaters that life isn't about getting candy, it's about accepting the temporary sacrifice of Jesus. I may even have a small swimming pool out there in case any of them want to be baptized.

Praise Jesus for opportunities to share His wonderful story.

This is an old invention but in my opinion a new innovation in this case to prevent children in demonic dresses from trespassing!



And it teaches the children valuable Biblical lessons. It shows them reason and the consequences of Helloween Foolishness (Proverbs 22:15).

Before you go and say how this is Satan's holiday, Halloween is an ancient Scottish tradition which was then CHRISTIANISED as a mark of warding AWAY the evil spirits. The night is actually the eve before the day known as All Hallows' Day or as many people know it, All Saints' Day which celebrates the Christian Saints. Halloween is also a night for remembering the dead.

Although I can agree that Halloween has become crude and queer to a certain extent, to blame gays for putting diseased blood on lollies is rather absurd. If one was to know anything about homosexuals, they would realise that HIV AIDS and other diseases are actually more prevalent due to hetrosexual encounters. Perhaps you are perplexed by the idea of God loving all equally and are jealous of the love he can generate even towards homosexuals. The fact of the matter is however, that the blatant ignorance shown by my fellow Christians is sinful. Our God didn't come to judge us on our natural state. Homosexuality is in the brain, it is a state one finds themselves in due to fate. You cannot choose to be a homosexual, you just are one. Halloween and Homosexuality do NOT go hand in hand like one did suggest in an earlier comment.

If you were to follow God's will, you would get your head out the flaming sand and show some tolerance to others who differ from you. Halloween, therefore is not Satan's day as you suggest. No link between Satan and Halloween has ever been made apart from by extreme Christians like yourselves.
