What question NOT to ask God?

We often discuss what we do once in heaven and how we meet Jesus. We might ask Him some questions but are there questions we should not ask?

I think that personal questions should likely be avoided. He probably doesn't want to show pictures of Jesus as a baby or talk much about Lucifer's revolt.

I will not be asking questions. The Bible has already told me what to do to gain Eternal Salvation. Why would I want to know anything more?
58 If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD; 59 Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee. 61 Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bringk upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

I shall not ask for a sign.

        Isaiah 7:10-12
Moreover the LORD spake again unto Ahaz, saying, Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above. But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD.

I shall be like Ahaz and not tempt Jesus!

        Yours in Christ,

2 Kings 18:25 - Am I now come up without the LORD against this place to destroy it? The LORD said to me, Go up against this land, and destroy it.

Much as Jesus rebuked Satan for demanding a sign:

"And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God." (Matthew 4:6-7)
God's gonna stand there and watch you burn. But that's alright because you wouldn't heed his word.

According to the Bible this has an additional benefit for Christians, explained in Matthew 4:11. Seems fair.
Jeremiah 6:21 Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish.

Best wishes for the people in Ukraine.

I would refrain from questioning why He did what He did. God is all Knowing and God has his reasons. I would stick more to asking about things in the Bible. To tell me more of the lives of the prophets but I would never ask WHY He did anything. It is His to know

                    Dear Child,

Your heart seems to be in the right place, and you have healthy opinions but it is the task of True Christians™ not to have opinions but to tell the sinning World the Truth™ in a much more persuasive manner: By stating in plain and simple language how God feels about these issues. In this case, God most definitely agrees with you. Let God Himself tell that He has His reasons (He really has!)!

I apologize for failing to quote the Holy Bible sir and I can assure you it won't happen again. Thank you for your gentle rebuke as it has made me think. Opinions are worthless and fading. But God's word is forever.
