FYI, global warming is only a splinter of the greater issue of climate change, which does in fact entail periods of rapid cooling. Science is weird (and ergo, God's mysteries), huh? Try turning down your heat and putting on a sweater.

Trump is right - there is no Globull Warming. In fact, it was warmer when Jesus was on earth and it was even warmer when the Jews left Egypt (Exodus) for the promised land (and there were no SUV's around then). If you were to draw a regression line on those peaks you would find that the earth has been getting cooler over the last 6,000 years.

We're all hoping that it will get warmer - as a sign the Jesus is coming back. In the mean time, dial up your thermostats and burn that fuel - and stay warm.

I'm offended by the Leonid meteor shower (tonight). One, the name is misleading: they are falling stars, not "meteors" (rocks cannot fall from the sky because there are no rocks in the sky). Two, what kind of a psycho thought of naming a bunch of falling stars after the Soviet dictator Leonid Brezhniev?!?
The only good thing here is that the Moon is almost full, so not many falling stars will be visible.

In Britain, people are claiming that this is made up of bits falling off a comet. As the last comet was retired 22 years ago, any sensible person knows that (in the absence of perpetual motion technology) all comets airborne at the time would have run out of fuel and crashed long ago.

The meteorological office (a somewhat unreliable government agency) is advising people to go out and lie flat on their backs in the fields at midnight. I am very much not offended by this, as it will have the benefit of (a) removing the retarded from the gene pool and (b) preventing them from voting in the forthcoming election. For once, they have got something right!
