It's always a concern when secularists apply models directly contradicting The Bible. Whether it's their description of the universe, which Basilissa pointed out comprises everything we can see, or of plagues and convulsions or as in our new word "Simian Foamy Virus" a model requiring viruses to be invented.
When we find out something we didn't know before.—.sewing machines or spoked wheels, say.—.that's one thing. But when the humanists, or socialists or empiricists or whatever they're calling themselves these days, announce out of the blue a new "discovery" concerning topics already made clear in The Bible but which disagree with the Creator of the Universe, their true agenda is exposed.
