My comment was to the guy who was saying that non-religious people are "afraid" to eat incredibly unhealthy foods. Why would you NOT want to feel better and healthier throughout your life?

I'm saying unhealthy foods- meat it healthy is moderation. You believe that God made you this body, why would you abuse it by feeding it awful foods?

We must eat meat: Genesis 9:3 "Every moving thing that liveth, shall be meat for you."

God made all animals do with as we please: Genesis 1:27-28 "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Don't be silly, mr. Coleridge. I didn't despise vegetarians, I said that God isn't pleased by them, because God inspired Paul to write that herb-eaters are weak. Quoting God's Word is not judging or despising anyone, it is what it is: quoting God's Word. This is true even for the parts where fluffy-bunny christians like you don't like it.

In addition, Brother Cranky rightfully pointed out that this verse was about eating in general, not about eating herbs or meat. Verse 2, however, is specifically about herbs vs. meat.

I just want to say that this is one entertaining thread. Thank you all for bringing hours of entertainment. You might gues my position on this particular matter.

Thought, I do agree that hardcore athiest are as dumb as hardcore religious. There is not enough evidence on either side to be 100% sure. It is impossible for a fully sane, smart person to take a solid stand on one side. However, judging from a purely scientific perspective, I could not say that there is no God.

I stand in the middle, leaning towards atheism, until the traditional God figure gives me a sign. Or if there in the future comes a scientific discovery of an intelligent force surrounding the universe.

The most frustrating thing is that most highly religious people on this forum is allready so certain on there place that they will never ever be able to hold an intelligent discussion. And that is very sad. And im sure that if people start pointing out flaws you will get banned, since you allready know you are 100% right no matter what. Am I wrong? In that case, I do apologize.

I mostly registered to read some of the more extreme threads about Iceland and such.

Tell me, is it only an "intelligent discussion" if a Christian is willing to consider turning his back on God's Word in favor of yours? If that's how you define an "intelligent discussion", then you won't find any here.

We are much more interested in pleasing God than pleasing men. Men have only the power to kill (internet "men" don't even have that); God has the power to kill and cast into eternal torture in the Hell He has created to punish those who refuse His Will.
