You do understand that Evolution doesn't mean Darwinism right? Darwinism is a theory within the evolution theory.

Also, carbon dating is not the derivative of radioisotope dating. It's the SAME method used but with another element. You changed the method in which it is used when you said a wheel to a car.

Also, yes I do think that being called a 14 year old retard is insulting. I'm not going to resort to name calling and I am just having a calm debate here. If you want to stop debating I'll have no problem leaving. I only came here with an open mind to see your responses.

Sir, to be honest, for us to open our minds, you have to educate yourself a lot more. Since you still think you're right while we're not, while you clearly don't know what you're talking about, is an insult in itself and gives us every right to insult you back.

The word radio-isotope dating itself doesn't specify which element you're using. Only that you're using a radioactive isotope of one or more elements.

If I tell you I'm trying to measure the age of a dead tree with silicon dating, would you think I'm nuts? You should think so, since the age of trees can't be measured with Sicilium dating. And then I tell you, I meant radioisotope dating with C-14. Don't you think it's odd I called it silicon dating then?

And is it customary for atheists to ignore arguments that refute their proof? Oh, wait, of course it is!

I've already provided evidence. Though, you've only picked one. Your still wrong.

This is why I said, Carbon dating, which can also be known as Radioisotope dating as the same method is used.

But they aren't the same, Beauty School Dropout. Carbon dating is a specific type of dating, using a specific element. It does not involve radioactive isotopes of Uranium or Potassium.

Saying Carbon dating is the same as Uranium radioisotope dating is like saying a Muslim is the same as a Jew, because they both trace some of their bizarre beliefs to Abraham.

By proving yourself more wrong, you are not proving yourself right. You are only digging yourself deeper and deeper into your hole of stupidity.

Why not just admit you have no clue what you're talking about, and stop trying to be a Wikipedia scholar?

It's our fault you keep using a word wrong, and refusing to admit, that maybe, just maybe, you did indeed use the word wrong? If you had admitted you screwed up, then we could have moved on. Now I didn't see the point.

I am Atheist. First: it isn't because I'm lost, or trying to rebel against society to prove my independence as a maturing human. Second: very personal reasons brought me to where I am today. Third: my mother is a devoted Christian.

I love her unconditionally and accept her for everything she is. She will say the same about me.

She has taught me everything I know about the Bible and about God... yet ever since I was a little kid I just never had that unbreakable faith and belief that He does exist. I ran into issues around the age of 16 regarding my sexuality. Pure terror filled me when I realized I am homosexual... every where you turn, people are bashing 'the gays' out of ignorance and fear. Unfortunately, I see Christians in the frontlines. What ensued was severe depression, manic thoughts, and outright anger. I kept falling, kept falling, kept falling until one day I decided to open up to her. I told her everything and she didn't even flinch. All she said was, "You're still my son, I'll love you no matter what." Then she asked me where I stood on my faith. I replied with, "What faith?" and that remains today. Since, I have managed to drag myself out of that horrible depression and have done a 180. I wake up every day with a smile on my face that lasts until I go to sleep. Thanks to the support of my family and friends and nothing more.

She always says to me, "Son, you don't have to believe in my God, but I want you to know that no matter who you are, God will always have a place for you. He holds mansions in heaven for all good people, whether they are homosexual, of a different religion, or have been lost their entire life. He created us. He loves those of us who work every day at being better people. End of story."

I believe she is a true Christian. Religion shouldn't be used as a gavel to persecute any one person or their lifestyle. It should simply be used as a guideline to grow as a person and be the best you that you can be. This entire debate makes me sick to my stomach. 'Atheists' trying to tear down the Christians and vice versa. Live and let live.

Of course you think she's a True Christian™ dear, she told you herself and children believe anything they've been told. This is why it is so important to train a child to be obedient unto the LORD from the very beginning - before he has time to question any of it.
