ya coming from a guy "come sit on uncles lap" your right i am staying in my shoes, and i hope one day you meet the true christ, and get back on the true road to heaven. that is all, i cannot fellowship with people that practice absolute hatred to others. Im sorry i ever asked such a simple question that know one here seems to be able to honestly answer.

These are things Pentacostals do, based upon:

Mark 16

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Do you also drink deadly things, or are you selective in the ways you test God?

Oh, and Ted Haggard notwithstanding, "taking up serpents" is not a euphemism!

No friend, following His Holy Word, as described in The Bible is the only way into Heaven. If the Pentecostals follow the Word then why aren't they Baptists like us? Reading over the descriptions of the Pentecostals I get a lot of "some believe" this or that. There is only one way to believe, Jesus' way.

your talking about extremists, there are also extremists that consider them selves baptists like fred phelps. I dont agree with Mr. Haggard nor do I agree with Fred Phelps. As far as I know from my personal readings of the new testement, Jesus was a loving compassionite man who healed murdrers, thieves, harlets, the poor and the possesed, so they could inherit the kingdom of god.

Satan is the evil that GOD made. Of the 31101 verses of Scripture, less than 200 of them do not deal with extreme violence. God is a violent God. But in church you were only told about those 200 verses of a loving God. That isn't true. Jesus is returning for one reason only and it is written clearly in every Bible.
