The Goths encounter the same thing, and most especially, so did Christian Goths! Jesus made morbid symbolism to express himself. Cutting your evil arm, taking out your pervert eye, destruction of the temple, etc. They have a dark feel in them yet a cleaner message.
So to say that goths are godless would mean that Jesus is godless, and that is an oxymoron because Jesus is God. In fact, the entire Bible has a Gothic tone to it. This is calling your self godless, which is true. Maybe it's not us who are the atheists, but you.

Friend, you are more than welcome to go to Hell if you want to. However, as a Christian, I am required to do what I can to teach the ignorant of the folly of their bad choices in life.
