I don't care if you write Um. What I care about is what will happen to you if you Don't Follow The Bible.

Nobody is. But we are not on our own are we.

God is with us every step of the way. In every situation He makes known to us what we should do. That information is found in The Bible. What women should do, what men should do.
    And what children should do.
Why are you afraid to read The Bible? Perhaps you already know what you will find. If you already know, why not Read It.
Then you will be able to re-evaluate your study & career path in the Light of what God teaches us so clearly. And if you decide to continue you will know what you're doing, why you're doing it and what you hope to achieve. God's Word never changes. Its message is clear. And it challenges you to make a decision.
Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

      Here's a tip for you.

When I was quite a bit younger than you, if I said "uh", my mother said "duuuuuuh", because it gives the same impression . . . that you're stupid.

Now, when you hear someone on TV (or a classmate) saying "uh" a lot, you will start to hear "duh" instead, and you will understand what she meant.

While speaking, it is not necessary to continually produce sound, and use "uh" or other non-words as filler. A brief pause to collect your thoughts makes you appear reflective, rather than retarded. Rub your chin thoughtfully; glance out the window for a moment; look at your notes. Whatever works to buy you the approximately one-half second that you're getting by saying "uh".

The same goes for "like". You don't say "like" every three words, like, do you? Because, like, that makes you sound, like, like a dimwitted bimbo.

Now that we've corrected two of the worst speaking problems of your generation . . . How's that Bible study coming along?

A stinging slap on the cheek accomplishes the same thing.

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Because, like I said before, I'm bordering on Social Anxiety Disorder - some serious socially awkwardness. A lot of the time, I feel as though I'll say something wrong, I'll say the wrong thing, someone'll get mad at me, they won't like me. I don't like to sound straightforward because if you don't sound straightforward, you might have time to turn around what you're saying if you see disappointment or something, in someone. I don't know. It makes sense in my head; I don't have to explain it to you. And it has nothing to do with my religion, it has to do with a disorder.

I hate awkward silences. Everything is awkward when you're talking to me in person. I need something to fill those silences. I feel like, if I don't, they'll take it that I don't want to talk to them, or I don't know what I'm saying. I don't control it, it's socially awkwardness/borderline SAD (social anxiety disorder). I hate it when people don't say something back to me, they disapprove of what I'm saying, it makes them start to not like me. I don't like to not be liked, it makes me feel left out. Well, as I said before, it makes sense in my head, and it probably didn't come out very clearly just now but.. hey, it's not like I need to explain my reasoning to you.

I say "like" sometimes as a filler. Makes things sound less intense. I say it sometimes, when I'm thinking up a word that'll fit. Because, unlike on the internet, speaking in person is a lot more intimate and you can't retype what you're saying. So, I say "like" so that I can think about word choice and/or what I'm going to say.

What is you point? It's really that simple.

My point is in the rest of the paragraph, which you just happened to cut out of the quote.

Amanda, why do you hate children? You know, you are still a child, does that mean you hate yourself? Tell us why you are so sad and full of uncertainty. How can we guide you to feeling fulfilled by the Love of Jesus?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

My point exactly. It's worthless filler.

You don't want filler in your beef burger, do you? Of course not. You want 100% pure beef.

(If you're a vegan, you don't want meat in your veggie burger, do you? Of course not. You want 100% pure . . . um, soy puree or whatever. )

Don't put filler in your sentences, either. It makes you sound stupid.

The sooner you can break the habit, the better you'll do in the job market. (I can already tell you're not one who will be settling down to raise Soldiers for Christ right away, so you might as well make a decent income so you can preserve your virginity for your husband, instead of selling it on a street corner just to put food in your mouth.)

This all depends on what meaning of "Goth" you're referring too. If you mean goth as in someone who dresses in an great extent in black clothing and wear. Then I say it's that persons life-style and we really don't have much business in telling them what they should and shouldn't wear. While i'm not a goth, i do take some comfort in the colour black. Does that mean i'm evil? I like to think i'm not. Of course i could be wrong.

                          You are wrong.

Being a goth is a gateway into the occult and witchcraft. No decent Christian would ever have anything to do with it.

And you know who else wears black? That's right: Priests.

They wear black to hide the tears of the young boys they abuse (anally).

You need to wake up, man.

Priests raping children is irrelevant to the subculture of the gothic. The main goal of goth is to be yourself and be creative in your own dark way.

Some goths may be involved with the occult, but that is a minority. By definition it has nothing to do with satanism. It's about architecture, poetry, fashion, etc. Not cults.

As long as you're "yourself" and "creative in your own dark way" in exactly the same dark way as all your friends (or they just think you're weird).

No, it's not. Do you really think that moody teenagers have anything to with this:

                                ...poetry...
You're confusing them (or trying to co-opt the name, as you did with architecture, above) with the Romantic Movement (who, oh yeah, almost never wore black).

Fashion, yes, and just as permanent and meaningful. What would you call a movement that enforces standards of dress, deportment, and thought, and punishes differences with ostracization, or even alienation from the community? I'd call it a cult.
