How exactly do I dress like a slut? Since you've never seen me IRL, you wouldn't know, would you? But since that probably won't convince you...

Well let's see. The skirts I wear, number one, are all long enough to cover my knees. Plus, I always wear knee-high socks with them. So you never see my legs unless you happen to be in the school locker room with me and upwards of forty other girls who are either dressing for P.E. or Dance class.

The shirts (or blouses I guess) that I wear are all either long-sleeved or have a sleeve long enough to reach my elbow. If this isn't the case, I carry with me a jacket that I use whenever my blouse is sleeve or strapless. The Lolita style isn't one that carries a lot of clothing that shows plenty of skin. (Though your arms don't count, do they?)

For girly Lolitas like myself, makeup isn't a huge thing. Maybe some light lipgloss, skin-tone colored eyeshadow, that type of thing. For me, I try not to make it obvious I'm wearing makeup.

Now honestly, does it sound like I'm a slut to you? No skin is barely ever showing, (I wear elbow gloves for Christ sake) I never go overboad on makeup, (I only wear the tiniest amounts on super special occasions) the only difference between my style of dress and a christian girl's my age is simple: My parents don't let a book decide what I should wear.

Right to get started I decided to create an account to post my utter disgust at this thread and the comments which followed it. I stumbled across this looking for gothic clothing for some reason :/. The reasons that have been listed for what signs of goth are, are ridiculous. Since when did being goth make you gay or a lesbian. I'm a goth and straight!. I can assure you I do not worship satan. I do not show depression through cutting myself. Also why are people assuming goths are ugly and fat?. I am not skinny but I don't have a double chin and I don't think I'm ugly. Apart from my nose chain which most people do find ugly. But I find it creative. I thought christians were friendly and accepted people for who they are. I'm saddened I was proven wrong. I may not know much about christianity but I do know that you should learn to accept people for who they are and learn about goth before judging it. I'm proud to be a goth and just because some brainwashed idiots say I'm going to hell isn't going to stop me. I'm pretty sure god accepts me for who I am as long as I'm not like any of most of you people then I'm pretty sure he will!.
