So, if there's such a thing as "animal cruelty," doesn't that mean there must be "animal compliments" and "animal opinions" and a whole range of "animal emotions?"

According to which part of the Bible do you go to hell for torturing or drowning kittens? Things you go to hell for is things like homosexuality, disobedience to parents, working on sundays, divorce and not being a Christian.

As for where I'm heading, yes it is indeed quite warm, my annual elephant hunt in the Central African Republic

I'm was surprised to see someone suggest burning, which is a French practice and therefore barbaric. Drowning or stoning is the way to go, but I'd be careful about getting your wives or children involved.

I was told that at the point of death, cats and kittens release their inner Daemon which immediately looks for a new home. The person who kills them is obviously the closest at that time and so in the greatest danger.

Now an adult man is strong enough to resist, but women are notoriously weak and even male children may not yet have the experience to repel the Creature.

I used to get the maid or the Filipino houseboy to do it. After all, you can always hire new help.

You should (even if you don't believe it to be true). It is, unarguably, the most influential book ever written, in any language.

Have you read it yet? You can get one free from most churches (try to get a King James version, it's the least soporific, IMO), or for as little as $5 at Wal-Mart, or you could read it online here.

Only that you can't hope to have an informed discussion of its contents or impact in your present state of ignorance.

How would you feel about someone dissing your favourite movie IF THEY'D NEVER SEEN IT? Would you have ANY respect for their opinion? Or would you just tell the hypocrite to shut the f*** up, and ignore everything they said about anything at all?

Why should you be treated any differently?

There are 66 books in the Bible. Read two a day (couple of hours, maybe), and you'll be done in a little over a month. You'll then be better informed about the Bible than most so-called Christians (seriously, just ask them; most haven't read it, just a few bits and pieces as part of a "Bible study" thing).

You'll be amazed at what you didn't know before.
