    A question about secular laws

    The Bible clearly tells us to follow secular laws, but what if they make a secular law that says its illegal to be a Christian, should we follow that law also then?

    Re: A question about secular laws

    There would never be a law that would require that.

    You are entitled to follow your beliefs just like I am, even if they are different. As a human being, it is just polite and good manners to respect all walks of life and to respect their varying beliefs.

      So just because you have had a thought in your head it must be so! How can you be sure?

      Isaiah 30 9That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD: 10Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:

      You're doing this right now. It's only one more step.

      You speak as if you can see the future as a prophet.

      Jeremiah 23:26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;

      It's not too late to turn from speaking lies.

      Isaiah 34:6 The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.

      John 5:46,47 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

        I wasn't saying it to mean that my word must be so. Obviously there is no way to be certain of anything that may happen in the future. I only meant that I believe in our government to the point that they wuld never try to oppress people by outlawing their right to practice a certain religion.

          That's a specific instance in where the Bible calls for disobedience.

          Acts 5:28-29
          Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us. Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

            Don't kid yourself, lady; The Obama administration would like nothing more than to close our church down. They hate us because we are God's favorite church and we practice Christianity PURELY AS WRITTEN. No other church in America is more Christian than us!

            This is why we work so hard with the GOD and the Tea Party to scrap that pesky U.S. Constitution and replace it with the Holy KJV Bible. God's laws are all we need! Glory!!
