Hmmm Mr Machine. I will believe you when I personally hear from Mistress Cookie, and not until then.

Thank you, Mayor Joe Hold! You are correct, but our churching has not been limited to just Sundays. My philosophy, when on the road, has always been "A Bible fellowship a day keeps the Devil away."

Of course, there are bound to be a few bumps along the way.

Why, last Wednesday, we accidentally wound up fellowshipping with a bunch of Pentecostals. I didn't realize it until they brought the snakes out, but you'd better believe I got us the heck out of there!

Let's all take a deep breath and consider the facts involved in the Mistress Cookie's "disappearance".

First of all, both Faith_Machine and Mistress Cookie are True Chrisitans™. We know this requires a life of high moral standing and a walk with Jesus.

Second, I am confident that Brother Machine made certain both he and Mistress Cookie attended, and intend to continue attending, a fundamentalist Baptist church each Sunday, no matter where they happen to be traveling at the time. At these services, sin is the central topic. There are always long discussions of how Jesus died on the cross to forgive our sins. This, even though the chance is small there has been any sin between Brother Machine and Sister Cookie.

Brother Faith Machine, we have plenty of faith; my husband is a pastor, and I am a proper Christian woman. I'd just love to hear directly on her account from her; I greatly love the dear old lady.

Why on Earth wouldn't she be OK? Oh my goodness. You people need to refer to the Bible and familiarize yourselves with what the Lord thinks of folks who have little faith.

    As am I, sister.

If it isn't too much to ask, Mr. Machine, I (and I'm sure several others) would like to see some pictures of Mistress Cookie, just so we can see if she's ok and enjoying her spiritual journey through God's Favorite Country.

Dungeon? Oh my goodness, what is all this crazy talk? And I certainly wouldn't have an unmarried woman visiting me in my home without her father or brother present!

Nay, we just breezed through town on our way down Highway 1 to visit The Esalen Institute a lovely Baptist church I know of.

I do hope at least, that your dungeon in Pacifica is fitted out with some of the creature comforts that our dear Mistress Cookie is accustomed to. Why not at least get her a computer, now that you're no longer on the road.

The Hebrews wandered with Moses in the desert for 40 years, yet they still got where they were going. You must trust in the Lord to guide us and watch over us during this momentous journey of healing!

The question here is whether you trust God to shepherd us safely to our destination.

When you ask me if I trust the Lord, my answer is a resounding YES!!!

My most beloved Brother, geography is not something I'm good at, but I don't think that the shortest route from Cherokee, IA to Freehold, IA, leads through Northern California?
