Re: Please Pray for Mistress Cookie

Everything is COMPLETELY FINE, and I promise you that I have not Skyped with Mistress Cookie even once. The very thought never even entered into my mind. As we continue our healing trek across this great nation's highways and byways, we are truly in God's hands.

The question here is whether you trust God to shepherd us safely to our destination.

When you ask me if I trust the Lord, my answer is a resounding YES!!!

That's lovely. But Mistress Cookie needs to be home right away. Brother Faith Machine, surely you know I have been supportive of you, sending you food and clothing. "For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in;" Matthew 25:35. Thus, it's hard to say that I do not completely distrust you. However, my husband and I are worried about her spiritual well-being, and all of us know about your signature...

Oh Heavens, we're nowhere near Pacifica. We just spent a glorious day enjoying the Confederate Memorial at Stone Mountain, and we're now heading back to Freehold, but may take a few scenic detours if the spirit moves us.

Truly, God's country is wonderful this time of year.

I know many people from Pacifica and will be more than happy to send someone by to prove this woman is safe. Of course, they are all Jewish, so will their word be acceptable for this purpose? One is only half Jewish since his mother is Catholic and never misses Mass at St. Peter's, and his father attends Peninsula Temple Sholom. Perhaps that would be two strikes against that one.

I know lawyers and some accountants in that area, too. I am sure we can solve this mystery, friends.

I sure am hearing a lot of jibber jabber here. Can any of you prove that Miss Cookie is not, at this very moment, being supported by me, her brother in Christ, as she climbs new mountains of faith and is invigorated by the Lord's healing hand?

Sister Johnson, I was referring to Mistress Cookie. One so lovely as yourself has been faithful to Jesus in prayer - of this, I am certain.

    Adoringly,
    Brother Larry

On the other hand - is it possible that Mistress Cookie has lifted up her eyes to the HOLLYWOOD hills, from whence used to come her help? And is it possible that Brother Faith Machine, being from Pacifica, not only aided but abetted her journey to that godless area? I speak these questions in the spirit of brotherly love, friends. It is not my place nor is it my intention to speak ill of those that have far greater depth in the love of God than I. In fact, I am prostrate on my face right now, crying out to the LORD JESUS for His forgiveness. It is really hard to type this way so I am going to go for now.

    COME, Lord Jesus!

Of course, I wouldn't dare to speak from the podium. I firmly believe a lady's place is at the feet of the men who are teaching, and us ladies have our mouths shut learning. After all, the Lord gave us one small mouth, and two ears.

Not if she's in a duffle bag, or worse, a box!

Actually, I try to look on the bright side of this. I think of it as an adventure Miss Cookie is having. And, knowing her spunk, she will use the experience to grow and help all of us here.

I predict she is collecting recipes from across the country. Faith will no doubt takes her to shopping malls and she will come back decked out in the finest Christian outfits.

Let's get ready for a big Freehold celebration on the return of Miss Cookie.
