Re: My father told me that he's gay.

The Bible also tells us not not rebel against parents, but i am pretty sure that doesnt count on parents who are gay!

Your father is headed straight to hell. There's nothing you can do. Praying for him is a sin!!! He's a filthy brute beast worthy of death (Lev 18:22)

      God hates fags!

Judging by his avatar, this person seems to be involved in the anti-American False Christian cult Westboro Baptist Church, who's leader Fred Phelps is a democrat.

Jeremiah 7: 16 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee. 17 Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? 18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger. 19 Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces? 20 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched.

Jeremiah 11: 9 And the LORD said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem. 10 They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers. 11 Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them. 12 Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense: but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble. 13 For according to the number of thy cities were thy gods, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have ye set up altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense unto Baal. 14 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.

Indeed, it is true that the Bible says not to pray for those who pray to false idols. However, for you to make that link between homosexuality and idolatry requires mental gymnastics, as been seen above. The only link is metaphorical and subjective. You need to read the Bible literally and by itself, and not interject your own interpretations (see 2 Peter 1:20)

Now, the Bible does tell us to pray for those that persecute us, and we can easily say that the Homosexual Agenda is persecuting us. They try to overturn just and fair laws that say marriage is only between a man and a woman, they try to infiltrate our boy scouts, and they ram gay sex down our throats in the movie and music industry.

              Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

“Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar, and there you remember that your brother has something against you; leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.” Matthew 5:23,24

Yes, but if they have something against us, we must not offer our gifts (prayers) to them. Right?

Not according to The Bible. Remember that all people are sinners until they are saved, which includes faggots, porn-watchers and masturbators. As you may know, being gay is a choice, and they also have the choice to stop being gay and become Christian instead!

Yes. But prayer should truly only be used to ask God to execute HIS own will.

Being a filthy faggot is something that God has afflicted people with! Those vile delusions are a curse from God, and I would not be so presumptuous as to ask God to undo what he has seen fit!

I will pray to God that he does whatever he sees fit to do to this person, if that means God saves the fag and turns him from his vile ways, then so be it. However, God's will may also be to kick that fags ass, make him get AIDs and send his rebellious ass straight to hell, and I will thank him for it.

You know, I've had just about enough of you young man. Flitting about our forums spouting nothing but hatred here and hatred there. I suggest you read my private message before things get worse, for you.

In any event, Jesus Christ saves. Scripture tells us such.

Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

This includes "filthy faggots". Twenty years of my life spent impaled on the man steel of strangers, I was as queer as they come. The drugs, homelessness, disease, despair and loneliness of being a fag, I know all too well. All the result of my decision to be a sissy.

But then I turned to Jesus and the Holy Bible.

If not for the prayers of Christian men that held my hand in prayer instead of yet another homo holding my privates, I would likely have perished by now.

If God can save a reprobate like me, He can save anyone. Please keep this in mind and be kind. Always ask yourself if Jesus would approve of your post before you click "submit".

Yes, to some one word can mean anything he wants it to believe.

What would a child say the scripture you quoted meant? Leaving a gift at the altar means just that. God commanding you to go and sort out your differences with your brother before you do that has nothing whatever to do with whether God wants you to pray for gays or not.

21Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: 22But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire

“Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar, and there you remember that your brother has something against you; leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.” Matthew 5:23,24

25Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. 26Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.
