My kitten is properly stressing out and hiding up chimneys and everything because he fell out with his mum (another cat - we're not insane) and she chased him.

Please pray that God will intervene and get him to calm down.

One of my sons Ismachiah (aged 8) read you post and is going to ask his friends in assembly to pray for the kitten. 1000 little children all praying to God, that should hopefully work.

If not then Ismachiah suggested lighting the fire because you don't want the little bastard pissing up there and anyway God LOVES the sweet savour of burning flesh.

Truly the power of prayer is immense. Once I had decided to leave it to the power of the Lord and stop trying to coax him down it wasn't long before he was at least hiding in my wardrobe instead.

As the night moved on the prayers must have done their work because not only did he wake me up lovingly this morning by purring loudly and bashing me in the face but he and his mother were reconciled.

This sort of thing happens all the time but scoffers are so quick to dismiss it out of hand. God works so hard to respond to us.

Perhaps the school children could turn it into a joyful song of praise and celebration. The Lord is mighty!
