    Prayers to resolve IT problems

Brothers and Sisters. Hopefully this may be useful advice for you in the confusing era of technology that we now live in. I am not a techno geek and don't know my RAM from my ROM and still have problems inserting my floppy disk.

Sometimes I find that programs just freeze for no reason or the computer just does not respond to what I ask it to do. I used to phone an expensive IT help desk that would just lead to more misery. However I think I have now found the answer that was there all of the time.

Now if I come across a problem I simply stay calm, shut down the computer and put my trust in God. I pray to Him and explain in as much detail as possible the problem. I also include information about the operating system. Obviously He already knows I'm running Windows 7 but I include the information anyway. I then calmly restart the computer and EVERY TIME the problem has been resolved by Him.

    Psalm 31:14
But I trusted in thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my God

Thank you brother O'Fagen for that excellent and inspirational post.

When I'm at work (and forced to use a secular Operating System) the same faith filled technique works for me. It's as if God is speaking to us both.

If you grow weary of re-starting your machine, Pastor Isaac Peters JesOS is to be highly recommended. Not only is it featured packed, but the steady hand of God prevents it from crashing. I personally have an uptime of 730 days - an uptime only bettered by Godless Viagra users.

Very Inspirational! It just goes to show what the power of prayer has!

Keep in mind, if you had not been able to resolve the problem, it is not because your prayer was ignored - it would obviously have been because the Lord did not want you running the programs.
      John 8:31

Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

        Brother O'Fagan,

I can't agree with you more.

Whenever my computer starts acting up I always assume it's demons.

I usually turn it off and rebuke the demons at the top of my lungs, then turn it on and say a prayer as it reboots.

My computer is still up and running, so it MUST work.

        THANK YOU JESUS!

I dont see how god fixed the problem, if your RAM(Random access memory) has reached 100% because of other programs and if you try and open somethin e.g. internet then the RAM can not be diverted to be used for the internet thus making it unable to responde.

By restarting or shutting down the computer it then resets the RAM to around 25% and thus allows you to use programs until it reaches 100%.

The best way to stiop this from happening is to shut down programs so the RAM can then be used for new programs that you open.

What kind of feeble being do you think God is that He can't respond to prayer and fix a simple computer?

Hey, if you want to be the one guy who doesn't trust in God to solve your computer problems, be my guest. But don't blame us when you have a problem that you can't fix on your own, because God will just be laughing at you then.

God will fix anything for free, not only IT problems but car problems, fiscal problems, health problems, he will make sure you don't get in an accident when you are asleep at the wheel, he will make sure the chemicals that you store in the same cabinet as the flour don't contaminate it, and he will protect you from criminals and homosexual rape when you are in the streets proselytizing. He promises this in the Bible, see Matthew 21:22.

I'm always on the lookout for this threat, too.

It's good to cover all the "vents" on the computer and monitor with either several layers of masking tape, or (for a prettier look) wrapping paper affixed with clear packing tape. That way the demons can't get in. (Or if they're trapped inside, they starve.) Also cover any cracks in the nearby wall or on the desktop where the demons may be lurking.

Sometimes this makes the demons fight for their toehold harder than ever and slow the computer down even more, but I'm willing to pay that price and know I'm standing up to evil.

Thank you for this word of great inspiration! Praying over the computer and shouting the Lord's great name at has always word better then some IT Tech or "anti-virus." If you get a virus it's because the Lord willed, not because someone in some "lab" made it to be hateful. A virus is simply God's way of keeping you off sites you should not be on.

Miss Vaseline, when did you turn your back on Jesus and become a servant of Satan? And WHY?

How could you give up an eternity of joy, spent praising Jesus for His Perfection, continually singing hymns to Him in the heavenly chorus, for a few earthly pleasures followed by eternal damnation?
