Linguistics is not my field of study, but I can always throw a hunch, of course.

I think the word is a combination of the words "domine" and "tricks." "Domine" is Latin for "master," and as we all know, latin is nowadays only spoken by cathlyckers. The title of a roman cathlyck priest can sometimes be "Dom," which is an abbreviation of domine. Therefore, I think that the first part means "catholic priest."

Consequently, the second part might well be just the English word "tricks," but then with the "cks" replaced by "x," which is a way of spelling hip youngsters on the Internet use, because it is shorter to write it like that, like you can see, for example, in the word "thanx."

So I think that "dominatrix" means "a catholic priest's tricks." That person probably invited you to experience the disgusting tricks catholic priests use to lure in young boys. Could it be that you were discussing the evils of papism with that person?
