Re: Volunteers needed for Fashion Police!
I'm already sort of like a fashion policeman, at least, I have that effect.
When we arrived in 2003, the first thing we saw was people welcoming us, including women who were dressed disgustingly, with tight jeans, skin showing all over the place, etc. They were dancing, jumping up and down to bounce their boobs, all sorts of indecency everywhere.
Well, within a couple of days that all stopped, and now Iraqi women are dressed extremely modestly, and they never behave aggressively around males. They avoid eye cpmtact, walk away, and if you talk to them, they never talk back, unless you count quiet praying.
I don't know what it is that made all the difference in Iraq, but I want to see it happen in America.
