  • The Christian Gun Owner

    Praise Jesus Brothers!

Finally a resource on the World Wide Webs for the Christian gun owner! From God-Fearing Arkansas, Minister Mark Rogers pulls no punches on why all Christian men should be armed at all times. "Christian First, American second, gun owner third!" May God bless this righteous man!

A few excerpts from the site:

WELCOME to the Christian Gun Owner web site. There is a huge American community of Christians who know that this country was founded on the principles of the Bible and under the guiding hand of an almighty God.
    Amen!

This site is dedicated to the millions of Christian patriots who enjoy the shooting sports of all kinds and believe in and practice responsibility for their and their family's safety and protection. "Christian" here means just that. Nothing more or less. The real kind, not the tv kind. Not the tribal warlike kind. Just believers in Christ that express that belief by living their everyday lives attempting to do their best to follow Christ, but acknowledge their human nature and occasional failures. The Christian gun owner that believes he/she is to be a servant to humanity but not a doormat to those who refuse to live by the rules of reasonable human behavior.
Praise Jesus! Who could disagree with this?

If you found this site and take issue with those beliefs, this is not a place for you to vent. If you would like to enter here to view, read, consider and learn, you are welcome. You may even leave with the decision to become a Christian gun owner. If you just came here to pick a fight, go away.
An armed Christian with some backbone! Finally!!

For the informed Christian, we know that the Bible does not call us to pacifism in protecting ourselves and our families from the criminals of this world. And self defense takes more forms than just protection by firearms. Gun defense as well as many other types will be discussed here. Aticles by martial artists and self defense experts are welcome and will be included here.
If for some reason Christian men are uncomfortable keeping loaded .50AE Desert Eagles around toddlers, Minister Rogers will provide instruction in slant-eyed martial arts!

It is probably no secret to anybody reading only this far that I am neither liberal nor a Democrat. Liberal politicians and policies that encourage people's dependence on the government, remove individual responsibility and forcably take finances from responsible Americans makes me sick. Period.
    A voice of reason!!

I hesitate to consume any more of Christ's precious bandwidth so will quote just once more and leave you to visit the Internets website of this Godly man. As always, I am yours in Christ!

    Carry the Largest Gun Possible

The biggest gun possible will obviously be different for different people. But what I'm talking about here as being the biggest and best for you is the largest caliber most powerful gun you can carry legally concealed. A gun firing a bullet with as much penetration and expansion as possible gives you a better chance of finishing any life threatening encounter in your favor.

A 1911 style pistol in .45 caliber is a full size pistol, but easily concealable because of it's slim profile.

As a woman , I found the S&W 686 a wonderful weapon. Sure it's a revolver and therefore harder to load, but if you can't take down an attacker in 6 shots, you've got problems.

      Rubicon,
I reached this post a little late, but I am glad I did. I’d say it was ‘inspiring’ but, in fact, it is, thanks to your bolding of certain parts of the text, more a summary of what God expects of each and every Christian.

The True Christian requires no “due process.” If we are to model ourselves on Him, we are to accept that we may judge errant behaviour and, where that behaviour exceeds His Wishes, the loaded and directed gun in the hands of a True Christian™ is God’s Way of telling the offender to stop sinning.

I see the gun as the natural successor to fire and the stone with the flesh wound as the equivalent to the lash.

Had the First Coming been today, how would Jesus have driven the money-changers out of the Temple? The answer has to be, “With a Colt.”

Wait! I’ve just had a vision! I saw bands of armed True Christians™ wandering the streets on the Sabbath looking for those who are actively working. I saw the destruction of those who worship false gods or fail to seek The Lord. I saw homers fleeing to Canada taking their vile afflictions with them and polluting the land there, rather like they gathered in the days of the Patriarchs in Sodom and Gomorrah (The Twin Cities.)

Interesting reading about what I would consider a right of passage for all True Christians(tm) from Jesus himself

Unfortunately we have had our guns taken away from us here in Australia because of leftist, tree hugging, hairy arm pitted lesbians and sodomising, lefty, namby pamby, do gooding, homer, politicians

For all Godly people firearms are an every day essential, much like a cell-phone, an SUV, a backyard bomb shelter and a pair of 501 Levi's
        2 Samuel 22:31

        As for God, His way is perfect;
        The word of the LORD is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

              Re: The Christian Gun Owner

One of the more serious topics we've discussed in Men's Bible Study was: What gun would Jesus carry? For obvious reasons, Jesus would be partial to American firearms. The aforementioned Colt 1911 would make a good sidearm, but I could see Christ Himself slinging a Remington 870 shotgun to make a louder point.

The AK-47 is, admittedly a reliable and terrific weapon, but it was designed by a godless Soviet for godless Soviets (and unruly jigaboos in third world countries). Which is why I don't think God would carry an AK-47. Why not a true-blue M16? Or an AA-12 semi-automatic shotgun?

                  Re: The Christian Gun Owner

Jesus would not need a fully automatic firearm, those are for people who can not aim like gays and women.

Like me Jesus would prefer a Smith and Wesson 500 Mag Hunter. My goal is to kill all animals I hunt in a single shot, and with this gun I usually succeed at that. I feel closer to Jesus every time I kill an animal with mine so I am certain that He approves.

It is an excellent gun. It is the largest double-action revolver available, and there is no production revolver in the world, single or double action, capable of matching, or even approaching, the level of power it produces. For the amount of power it has, it is amazingly comfortable to handle, mostly thanks to the excellent recoil muzzle compensator. Not that Jesus would need muzzle compensation, but this gun is designed for mere mortals. I use a laser for aiming, but I am sure Jesus would not need that as He has perfect vision.

Some of my favorite childhood memories are of being at the church Youth Sharpshooting League. We would round up all sorts of stuff for target practice; Beatle records, science books, mexicans, etc. Little Jennifer Stewart was the best at firing the .50 caliber machine gun. We all laughed at the thought, but she handled it great!

                        Bless you Brothers and Sisters!

I'm so glad to see my fellow Christians well armed against the daily threats of persecution, sodomy and blasphemy!

I'm going to work with a local Christian fabricator to see if it is cost effective to incorporate the cannon from an A-10 tank killer in a turret that should be mounted on the roof of all Christian homes.

Witness this Godly firepower and just imagine if the target was a tent full of Mooslims!

I think you are right Brother Aim.

The ammunition from this weapon is discharged rapidly, often in massive spurts every few seconds. Elevation would be critical in spraying the most sinners possible with God's wrath, given the limited storage available in this weapon.
