Nobody likes pain, especially pain caused by a loved one. This person's wife wasn't a seriously loyal Christian, so she probably doesn't believe that her husband beating her is a good thing.

They know the responsible thing to do is to help them avoid an eternity of unavoidable, inescapable, unfathomable pain. Do you really think a slap on the cheek or a belt across the back of the thighs is worse than an eternity of being repeat gang-sodomized by non human demons?!?

What a True Christian™ woman wants is a husband who is manly enough to do what needs to be done, not cower behind modern limp-wristed liberalism in hopes that his wife's character flaws won't catch the attention of the omnipotent LORD.

I would guess your wife left you and took the kids. Women don't like abusive husbands (I'm a man FYI).

There is nothing abusive about keeping a woman on the straight and narrow path to salvation.

Lets say you were born a woman and your a Baptist and so on. Now one day you accidentally do something wrong or purposely or knowing you did or didn't know your doing the wrong thing and then your husband confronts you about it. Mmmk and you all now what's coming next he beats you for it I mean not just a slap a full on slapping and punching you in the face for a couple minutes would you just let him do that?

Jesus Himself points out that if someone does wrong without knowing they still deserve a beating, just a bit lighter that's all.

Luke 12:47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes.
