I think that there are a lot of similarities between what you're saying and how these folks got brainwashed to begin with.

It is terrible, I agree, the extent these game developers will go to to lock in poor unimaginative saps who could otherwise be making a contribution during these last days. Do they care that the only relationship of value is compromised here on earth? No. That's how much they care.

I think that a lot of them found each other by saying exactly the same thing: that they'd be friends, but only if they agreed to believe exactly the same things; and clearly, you don't want to not be friends

It's a little puzzling, though. I'm not sure exactly to what extent your beliefs align with reality; obviously as Christians we are not in any way "religious" preferring to live in the world as it actually is rather than play-acting some externally sourced fantasy. That remains the forte of gamers and other maniacs, in particular the religious varieties such as scientologist/mormon cultists (they're essentially the same thing) or 7th-day adventists and stuff. Even these overwatch nutbags whom you quite rightly criticise. But a quick glance at your friends list in conjunction with your intro. post seems at variance with how I'm reading your post here. God is not the author of confusion.

What does this "tagged" mean? In what way does it glorify Jesus? How does it compel the sinner to dine with the Bridegroom and Bride for all eternity (Luke 14:23-24)? I like to be able to speak "hip" with the kids today, and I suspect this knowledge will contribute positively to my Sunday School class for young teens who feel unsure of their place in the world, who are lacking self-confidence, and who need to learn that only in eternal humility can they genuinely know gratitude. Kids these days are so spoiled by "safe spaces" and the like they wouldn't know what humility is if you slapped them in the face with a dictionary opened to that page.

As you can see, God calls what you've suggested an ABOMINATION. Do you disagree with God? If so, say why. If on the other hand you agree with Him then you need to explain why you don't do as He commands. Not "suggests" note well. "Commands." You can say anything is sinful, Call of Duty, Overwatch, the Office, Rick and Morty, Mirror's Edge Catalyst, heck even Mickey Mouse. You realize this website is a "meme", a meme is an internet trend, heck there is even a few hundred forum posts on the Blizzard forum and Reddit. Plus there is a Youtube video that has made tons of money off of this thread. Also, Blizzard won't stop their wonderful game just because a group of what we normal Christians call, "Christian extremists" think their game is sinful. Let me tell you about each character. There is nothing poetic about any of these abilities or weapons when a character dashes with his sword that does not mean that he is dashing towards Satan, for you have no proof in-game of that.
Genji is a 35-year-old Japanese man named Genji Shimada. He is a cyborg-ninja. He throws shurikens as his primary weapon, his primary ability makes him pull out a sword and deflect incoming attacks, his secondary ability makes him pull out a sword and dash forward with it. Genji's ultimate ability makes him pull out a powerful sword with a green dragon around it.
Mccree is a 37-year-old American from Arizona. He looks like a cowboy and holds a revolver. His primary ability makes him throw a grenade that stuns enemies. His secondary ability makes him go the ground and roll in any direction. His ultimate ability makes him fire bullets and be able to kill multiple enemies without directly aiming at them.

The term "Christian" is reserved for those who worship and obey Christ and His teachings. "Normal" Christian behavior would seem extreme to an unbeliever. Jesus told His apostles to spread His Word and make disciples throughout the world. He did NOT tell them to make friends with everyone or blend in and adopt cultural norms that oppose Biblical instruction. Unless you accept and obey ALL of God's commands you cannot--in good conscience--call yourself any kind of Christian. If there is a single verse or instruction in the Bible that you do not like or support,then you are an apostate, not an apostle.

I don't see how your comments add to the discussion but then, unlike you, I have read the entire thread. I have also read the entire Bible, many times, and before you start sounding off about what "normal" Christians think, I would strongly recommend that you do the same. However, if Brother Brasil is interested in what you have to say then obviously I defer to his judgment on the matter.
