• The Holy Bible is the Word of God, we both agree on this, right?
• The Holy Bible contains the Truth, because God would never lie to us, we both agree on this, right?
• What does the Holy Bible say about God's followers' ability to sin? This is the point where we seem to disagree. Here at Landover, we read the Bible literally. That means, when the Bible says something, we understand it as it is written, rather than make up some complex interpretations. A couple of posts ago I have provided you with the list of relevant Bible verses. Now, you have two options:

1. Accept the Bible as it is written, when it clearly states that true followers of God cannot sin.
2. Create, present, explain, and defend an alternative interpretation of these verses, which would support your thesis that true followers of God continue sinning.

I would also like to point out that a True Christian cannot answer directly to your question because it could be interpreted as boasting (Proverbs 27:2). However, I can testify that, to the best of my knowledge, Sister Mary E., Brother Hutchins, Sister Mitza, Brother Gonzalez, and others who have interacted with you, are really decent human beings who do not do evil things. Honestly, I would not fellowship with them otherwise, because I do not enjoy company of evildoers (call it a weakness of mine if you will, but it is not a sin, 1 Corinthians 5:11-13).

I am not talking about being a decent human being. Most Christians are decent human beings, that does not mean they are perfect. It is not boasting if you are using it to defend your faith. According to you, you believe that you are perfect and never sin. All I want to know is if you are perfect.

As a Christian, I believe what the Holy Bible says. This - again - is what the Holy Bible says on this specific subject:

Psalm 119:1 ALEPH. Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
Psalm 119:2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
Psalm 119:3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

John 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

1st John 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
1st John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
1st John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
1st John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

1st John 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

As you can see, it is written in plain English, that those who are born again do not/cannot commit sin. I am born again. That means, the Bible tells me that I do not/cannot sin. As a Christian, I have to trust the Bible, that what it says is true.

Now, contrary to what you might think, I am pretty open minded. If you can present a convincing argument that the verses cited above do not actually say what they seem to be saying, I will humbly accept your interpretation.

As Romans 3:10 says that no one is righteous! And also why would the Bible give believers specific instructions on how to correct fellow believers in Matthew 18 and other passages throughout the Bible. Why would it be included in scripture if true Christians never sin.

When reading the Bible, you need the understand the basic gospel message. We are made perfect through Jesus Christ!

Here's a simple thought experiment. Person "A" turns up and says

Person "B" on the other hand knows the sky is yellow. What will Person "B" think? The statement from Person "A" is clearly false but it's worth checking whether "A" is mistaken or using a secret language where yellow. is signified by the word tartan. As it happens, "B" is carrying a yellow umbrella.

Romans 3:10 is talking about the Jews and Gentiles of the time, not everyone. If it was talking about everyone then Romans 3:11 "...there is none that seeketh after God..." would mean that NO ONE ON EARTH has EVER bothered with this entire religion thing.

Seriously, read more than one line at a time if you want to understand anything. General life rule, that. Or do you watch some random 15 seconds of a movie and then argue with people about what the filmmaker was trying to say? Second thought, don't answer that.
