What you say is not accurate. God created man. God gave man free will. Man used this free will for things like drugs and prostitution. Would you have preferred not to have free will?

But "Fallout 3" is nowhere near as evil as "Oblivion" is and I'd like to say some things in its defense. First, we should be able to agree that Fallout 3 is several notches less Satanic than Oblivion

You obviously played too many video games. In video games you get rewarded for killing. In real life you get the death penalty. Losing perspective of this difference is one of the many problems of video games.

The same goes for Fallout 3. All of the options and temptations in this game are ones that we face in real life.

Conclusion: just like parents should protect their children from real life temptations, they should also protect them from this video game.

So if you're "appalled" by the content of this game, by that logic you should also be appaled with God (which is obiously foolish).

If you read through the entire thread, you will find everything you need.

Brother James is simply tired of having to repeat the answer for the 100th time just because someone comes barging into a Christian forum and stomps his feet.

In short: all school shooters have played video games (fact). Playing video games gets you into a trance (fact). Children react unpleasantly when a parent tells him to stop in the middle of a level (fact). Playing video games simulates an environment where the worst possible punishment for murder is hitting a reset button (fact). People have come into this forum stating they would play video games to train ways of murdering rapists (fact). And so on...

I don't know yet how my fellow Brothers feel about this, but to be on the safe side, I would be in favor of banning ALL video games and ALL video game consoles (except the Sega Genesis for obvious reasons).

It's simply too much risk to take. Even if we can save 1 life, it's a life worth saving!

Notice how my respectful and well thought-out message is replied to with a childish one-liner. You're making us Christians look bad.
