Ok usually I can agree with you guys on most points when it comes to video games but here I must step in and explain to you why you have been mislead into believing this game is bad. I'm sure to no fualt of your on.
1: I have researched this game and my son plays it with his friends so I have what I belive is a acceptable amount of knowledge on this game so please atleast listen for one second to see how this game isnt what you belive it is.
2: The games graphics are due to the fact that Markus Persson is a "indie"( independent) developer meaning that he is not funded by a big company that could provide him with the money to make minecraft have the latest graphics. It is not in anyway to "mock God and His amazing creations" as it would seem.
3: The term griefing is not infact a mask name for sex slavery. the definition of a greifer is "

Theres always going to be a need for someone to image new creative commercials, some will always need to be creative enough to design new better houses and churches, and Mcdonalds will go bankrupt if creative and inventive people don't take the places of thoughs who become to old to lead it!
