Portals are only a theory. They are inter dimensional gates, a quick way to travel from one place in the universe to another, almost instantaneously. However we don't know how to make one.

It's very unfortunate that the baby didn't ever get changed. And rather disgusting.

But God doesn't "let" the damned go to Hell. HE puts them there Himself!

At Judgment, God will resurrect all people who ever lived in bodily form. Those who have accepted Jesus and who have obeyed His commandments will be welcomed into Heaven with open arms! There, we will spend the rest of eternity in perfect bodies which don't need food or sleep, and which are neither male nor female. Nothing will distract us from spending all of eternity singing praises to God for His perfection!

And God will then take everyone else and throw them into His Lake of Fire.

Now, they also have perfect, immortal bodies. But they'll be dumped into the Lake of Fire. So, they will be burned alive for all time, unable to escape and unable to die.

That's called Justice.
