God tells us what we see with our eyes and there's a very good reason why the Bible doesn't tell us the sky is orange. It's because it's not orange. The Bible doesn't, in fact, tell us what colour the sky is in the same way as it doesn't tell us that water is wet.

Go and stand outside if the thought isn't too frightening for you.

Look around. Does the world look flat? Does the sky look like a solid blue dome with a bright light in it?

Now read Genesis where how God made the world just like this is explained to you.

If the Bible didn't actually describe the world the way it is then you would have a point.
