I had no idea such a thing existed, but apparently there is a Wiccan card "game" called "Magic the Gathering" that is very popular amongst nerds. In it, they practice casting black magic spells and summoning demons while trying to kill each other and angels too. In other words, it's Dungeons and Dragons for Satan-worshiping geeks with no imagination.

Now, as it turns out, there is a card designed to turn the boys performing this ritual into trannies.

In a piece of their satanic "scripture" recently posted online, a young boy who dresses as a girl and calls himself "Alesha" is outed by a type of demon named called an "orc".

Anger twisted the orc's face and he took another step toward her. "You tell me this? A human boy who thinks he's a woman?"

This boy, as it turns out, isn't fooling anyone but the rest of the "warriors" support his delusion!

Please join me in prayer, my friends, that this evil will be stopped. We have a majority in the House and Senate right now, and once we again have a Republican (and real) president (I'm praying for Gov. Huckabee!) then perhaps finally laws can be passed and enforced that stops this kind of homos*xual propaganda designed to feminize young male geeks. They have it hard enough already, turning them into dress-wearing queers is only going to make saving them that much more difficult.

It mocks the Good Book, the Bible by directly twisting its words.

1. The 'gathering'. The only gathering that can be accepted is the one of us in True Faith™ in the radiant presence of Jesus.

Ok, you have all taken this too far. First off, NOT EVERYONE who plays this game dresses like this. For those of you who thought that scouring Google on the internet was the best way to support your justly "Call to arms" and protect your "Brother's and Sisters" is completely un-Christian. Not to mention, totally ignorant.
Secondly, you sit and quote scripture, like it's the only thing to follow, and yet you folks forget 2 simple things...
1. Any text can be turned for your advantage (yes this includes The Bible as well.)
2. God gave us free will to make choices. Just because you don't like, or don't want to play this game, doesn't mean that it is corrupting children, or it's Satanic in nature. Hell years ago they said the same thing about Dungeons and Dragons. I played this game when I was younger, and I don't see demons, or conjure up spirits to smite my enemies.

I play this game and I'm not confused with my sexual orientation (I'm a 41 year old man, and my fiancee can attest to this...), I don't think that the cards connect in any way, shape, or form, to black magic. For those of you who do, I suggest if you really want to learn about black magic, you should try to find the Dark Magic book of Spells (if you're so lucky to find it). It's very rare book, written in Latin. Which has a counter book, White book of Spells.

Here's the bottom line. You are so quick to judge what is right and what is wrong, when you don't take into consideration that these "kids" and "adults" who play this game, aren't out being menaces to society. They work normal jobs like you and I, and you label them as well. Calling them "nerds". What the hell makes you so high and mighty? I can sit around all day long, quote the Bible's scripture to work out to my advantage, but unlike you, I don't waste my time. It's pointless. Why must you try to intervene with people's lives who are not doing anything morally, or legally wrong?

Oh, wait, that's right, you have this black book that says "Bible" on it, and you want to "cast" it's power to help others... Sounds like magic to me, don't you think??

Seriously people, read before you speak... Learn more about Magic: The Gathering before you open your mouths and look like complete idiots. The Bible does not say, "Thou shalt not play Magic or Dungeons and Dragons". It does say, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". (The Golden Rule).

Please keep this in mind, neither God, nor Jesus wrote the Bible, it was written by man, and it is open to any and all interpretations. No one person is going to read it the same way. It's a guide, not law. So please, for God's sake, lighten up.

So quick to judge. You know absolutely nothing of this game, nor how it is played. There are people who take this a bit too far, dressing up as characters on the cards, however that does not in any way, shape, or form, make this game Satanic. You really need to educate yourself, instead of thumping that Bible all the time... I can't speak for God, but you should be ashamed of yourself. Labeling people "Nerds and Geeks"... and what would you like to be called? That's exactly what I thought. For more information, look up Wizards of the Coast. The produce the game. Perhaps you can be educated then. Until then, grow up and stop using your Bible as a right to enforce your beliefs on everyone. It was written by a man, not a god. It's open to interpretation, and doesn't mean the same thing to each person who reads it. You really need a hobby, or a life miss.

Yes I play the game, no I am not female, so for the idiot who seems to think that I am sexually misled, WRONG. I love how your site labels the newcomers. Trust me, Satan doesn't want me, I'd take over. On that note, for all the scripture that was quoted to my response about the game being completely harmless, you all really do have a lot to learn. The sad truth is this, none of you know about this game, so since some kid decides to dress up as one of the characters on the card, you have to go off on them, calling them a transvestite, claiming that the game "made" them do it. That's like saying the gun killed someone. No, the gun didn't, the person who pulled the trigger did, of their own free will. The game didn't cause this kid to wear those clothes, they did so of their own free will. And to answer your other questions, no I do not dress up as any of the characters, or a wizard, or Jesus for that matter, but I can certainly tell some of you think you are better than me. That's not a very Christian attitude to take. Nor is calling a new user unsaved trash. You people really need to get your head out of your ass, and realize that you are not above anyone else.

Unfortunately dear, I'm not the one misinformed. I guess I might as well risk some more infractions here while I'm at it and possibly educate everyone here what this game is really about...so please bear with me.

My point was a very simple one. Every person in this thread seems to think that Magic: The Gathering is some sort of Satanic, Wicken game, when in fact that is so far from the truth it's not even funny.

As I recall correctly, the game was designed by Chester Garfield, who created the game for people to enjoy. Mr. Garfield later sold the game rights to a company called Wizards of The Cost, who were well known for their Vampire: The Masquerade roll playing game.

Again, I can't speak for everyone, but I can say that I don't dress up and "cosplay" however there are many venues like Comicon that every year people dress up as their favorite super heros, or even during the Star Trek conventions, they dress up as characters from the shows and the movies. They are simply fans expressing how much they enjoy the shows and movies, and it's their form of gratitude to the creator of those shows and movies, Gene Roddenberry. This is not to be mistaken with worship.

I don't see the harm in this, nor do I see any harm in children dressing up for Halloween (next I will be told this is also taboo, and not to be done due to what the Bible says, but I disagree).

Games like Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons, and Vampire: The Masquerade are not satanic, and are harmless (unless of course you have someone who isn't mentally stable, thinking this is real life. Then that person needs to seek therapy.)

What angered me about this thread is the fact that one boy dressed up as a character on one of the cards, which happened to be female, and you folks went and immediately blamed the game for this, when in fact it's not the game that caused the problem to begin with. That boy was simply dressing up as a character from the game, it was only a costume. This doesn't mean the kid is gay, or mislead.

I pose this question for all of you to think about. How many of you dressed up during Halloween when you were kids? How many of you went to church, or asked God for forgiveness after doing so? I don't think any of you did, I know I didn't. It was just something us kids did, looked forward to, and enjoyed.

So I'm only asking that you please read up on the game itself, before you are so quick to judge its intent. For those of you who know nothing about the game (and from what I've read, sounds like almost everyone) let me enlighten you.

The game is simply a card game. Yes within it you have different land cards (plains, islands, swamps, mountains, and forests) that allow you to "cast" creatures, instants, artifacts, sorcery, etc. It's using your imagination. Nothing more. There is no form of witchcraft here, it's how the game was created, and how the rules of the game are played.

Listen, when I play the game, I don't think for one second that after I'm done, I'm going to talk with Satan, or conjure up an angel to attack anyone. Apparently I know a little better than this, perhaps some don't. But as I mentioned before, for those who don't, they need to seek help. It's only a game folks, just like playing poker, or 21, or anything else. It's not to be taken seriously to the point of being a sin or real life for that matter. I certainly hope you can understand this, as there are millions of people who play and enjoy this game, and I highly doubt they are all sinners just because they play this game. They are both children and adults like me, who work a normal job, pay our bills, and live a normal life.

As I said before, it's just a game. If any of you have any further questions regarding it, you can find it by searching Google.com for answers, or look at Wizards of the Coast. I realize that we all have our own opinions on what is right and what is wrong, but seriously, there comes a time when you have to realize that perhaps you may be wrong about this... and I do apologize for being so defensive in the beginning, however every person in this thread was willing to ban this game, and not one of you actually took a moment to research the game in its entirety. I hope I was able to shed some light on this matter...

As for the little boy and the accusation of him being gay? Don't know if it's true or not, but if it is, I pray for him to realize his sin.

So, honestly, the game isn't turning anyone into transvestites, there is something more happening here than what we know.
