Homers blame us for their deathstyle choice

Sodomites are suffering from the consequences of their actions, and look at whom they're blaming.

Homer "news" source — fast and pray before clicking:

Study: Bans on gay marriage lead to rise in HIV infections
Emory economists say research shows ‘intolerance is deadly’

-IMG-Gay marriage bans can be tied to a rise in HIV infections, according to a new study by fag-enabling economists at Atlanta's Emory University.

“In the first study of the impact of social tolerance levels toward gays in the United States on the HIV transmission rate, the researchers estimated that a constitutional ban on gay marriage raises the rate by four cases per 100,000 people,” the university announced in a press release today.

“We found the effects of tolerance for gays on HIV to be statistically significant and robust — they hold up under a range of empirical models," said Hugh Jass, an assistant professor of economics.
What's next, blaming the Lord for the fact that they hate Him so much?

This is astounding! How can they think that making a mockery of marriage will in anyway alter the curse that is upon them?

I would also take issue with the “four cases per 100,000 people”, I doubt very much if there are 100,000 Homers in the whole of Godly USA!

How is Protecting the Sanctity of Marriage causing these abominations to be less safe (as if choosing to be a homosexual was safe in the first place)? I might as well blame the protection of Marriage for the lack of barbecue sauce on my Mannnly TV dinners at night! It's ridiculous and doesn't reflect reality at all--as if we'd expect homosexuals to be in touch with reality! The only thing they're in touch with is each others' naughty bits, which is why God gives them the AIDS.

Actually, there are at least 50,000 homosexual, bisexual, or transgendered individuals in the city of Atlanta alone. To doubt that there are even 100,000 LGBT individuals in the country is highly ignorant and you should be ashamed of your blind and narrow views.

I would also like to point this out: the United States were NOT founded by Christians. The majority of the founding fathers were actually deists. I don't know why your congregation insists upon lying to you in such a manner.

You are obviously a bad Christian. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ of Nazareth preached words of love, but your words are full of hate and anger. You should not fear and hate that which is beyond your understanding, but seek to find a coexistence and peace. It is not the Christian way to attack our neighbors are wish ill things upon them. You should stand up for the Holy Bible's true message.

One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, "Of all the commandments, which is the most important?" "The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these." (NIV, Mark 12:28-31).
Jesus says that the second greatest of all commandments is to love your neighbor as yourself. Would you treat yourself with the same condemnation that so many of you seem ready to heap upon others due to thinking differently from you, having a different skin color, being from a different nation, or having a different sexuality than yourself? Hardly. By trying to claim to truly follow the word of God when you cannot even follow God's second most important commandment of all is naught but hypocrisy.

"On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. "Teacher," he asked, "what must I do to inherit eternal life?" "What is written in the Law?" he replied. "How do you read it?" He answered: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" "You have answered correctly," Jesus replied. "Do this and you will live." But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?" In reply Jesus said: "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, took him to an inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two silver coins and gave them to the innkeeper. 'Look after him,' he said, 'and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.' "Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?" The expert in the law replied, "The one who had mercy on him." Jesus told him, "Go and do likewise." (NIV, Luke 10:25-37 )
So, before you can make any such claim as your neighbors only include those who walk in the way of the Lord, this parable proves that Jesus believed ALL mankind were our neighbors.

Why do you feel the need to rush into racial discrimination like that? You should realize that there are Christians of every color and creed, all across the world. And for the record, I am Caucasian, and a red-blooded American from the Deep South. Just because I don't share so many people's dim and narrow minded views of the world does not mean that I am not an American.

Did I accuse you of something? Did I discriminate? I believe discrimination is when you put someone into a category. I did not do that. I gave you a choice. America is all about freedom and having a choice. I was unaware (you learn something every day) that there were White chinks and dots. Sir, you have broadened my horizons, opened my eyes, thank you.

I agree, all of the rest of the world (except Andorra) is dim and narrow minded.

What does whether the founding fathers were wishy washy agnostics have anything to with whether the US is a Christian nation or not? Clearly the apostles all started out non-Christians. Anyone who reads the Constitution clearly can see the Hand of God(r) on it.

Idiot child! Up until the ink was dry on the signatures on the Declaration of Independence, all the founding fathers were British. (Interestingly, by virtue of the British Law of Nationality, they remained British for the rest of their lives, although I can't see that this bothering them unduly.)
