Stylist stops cutting governor's hair over gay-marriage stance

When New Mexico governor Susana Martinez articulated her stance against gay marriage ("Domestic partnership is just another word for gay marriage, and I do not support [either]," she said during her election campaign), she might have anticipated political protest -- but she probably wasn't expecting her hairstylist to wage a one-man war against her hair.

Antonio Darden, who runs Antonio's Hair Studio in Santa Fe, had previously cut the governor's hair three times, but says he refuses to do it again until she reconsiders her position. "I think it's just equality, dignity for everyone," Darden told KOB news. "My partner and I have been together for 15 years."

A man should not be a hairdresser, thats one of the most unmanly jobs that exists besides male gay prostitution, that being said i would say it's a bit more manly to be a barber, but a hairdresser? No way!

well, it's just another reason I stopped goin to the Zha Zha GaGlorious Hair Salon here in Defeated, TN to get my hair did! One day I was in there, gettin my bangs crimped by the renowned stylist, Nando? I was a little wary of Nando, on account of him bein' a Spaniard! But he had quite the good reputation, and often times he had a 2-3 week waiting list? Sos I was happy as a boiled opossum to get an appointment! But all that changed when this "light in the loafers" type sashayed in and kissed Nando right on the mouth! While he was crimpin my bangs no less! well, i leaped to my hooves, and squealed, "HOMERS! HOMERS!" and I grabbed that jar of blue antiseptic barbicide what they keep all the combs in? well, I splashed that stuff right in they homer faces, praise God!

Nando fell to his knees, clawin at his own sinful eyes bawlin' "AY de Mi! MIS OJOS, MIS OJOS!", while his Hell-bound boyfriend ran out of the salon cryin!

well, that was the end of Nando's storied stylin career, on account of the barbicide caused irreparable cornea damage, praise God! Now he wears two eye patches, like some kind of Spanish pirate? Now I stay home and do my hair my own self with my Flowbee brand haircut vacuum? and I can even keep the hair! I use it to put little wigs on my kitty litter statuettes.

I don't expect you menfolk to know this, but the ladies around here can all tell you that queers make the best hairdressers. You can ask them to wear latex gloves so they don't make physical contact with your hair and scalp.

Also I don't like lady hairdressers because sometimes they let their female parts bump against you, like sometimes their baby places rub against your hand if you have it on the end of the arm rest or their chests will rest against your shoulder if you lean towards them just a little.

My hairdresser is queer as he can be, but that's how I always look so nice for my wonderful Husband!
