Those sick-ular Darwiniacs are at it again. They'll do anything to justify deathstyle choices that, as any sensible person can see, are completely against nature. Now they're even urging us to behave like albatrosses:

Cooperative breeding, in which an animal assists in caring for offspring that are not its own, is often found in nature. But researchers in Hawaii have uncovered a case that is not so common, involving long-term pairs of unrelated birds of the same sex.

The researchers conducted genetic tests and monitored the pairs’ reproductive success. They report in Biology Letters that nearly one-third of the 125 pairs consisted of two unrelated females, and half of these stayed together for the duration of the study.

So what? Since when are wild animals a fit guide to human morality?

Albatrosses have long been a harbiger of doom: this recent observation of strangeness may be a sign of the end of times. Unnatural behavior is increasing and the devil has extened his claws into the animal world.

I have heard stories of poisonous creatures half bird half animal half reptile in the Antipodes; of males giving birth to off-spring and of fish that change sex during their lifetime!

Those Christ-hating monkey-worshipers are getting even more desperate. Now they're talking about some sort of critter called a bedazzled Rotarian, or whatever. According to the Darwinistas, they have somehow managed to drive off all of the males of their species, so instead they mate with bacteria and fungi. I guess we're supposed to follow their example and become man-hating feminazi tree-huggers.

They just keep getting weirder. The “they” I’m referring to are the bdelloid rotifers — small transparent animals that live in damp places such as puddles, or patches of moss. The latest analysis of bdelloid genomes shows that the animals don’t just have rotifer genes. They also have dozens of genes from bacteria, fungi, and plants. For instance, the genome of the bdelloid rotifer Adineta vaga contains genes that bacteria use for making components of their cell walls. (What the rotifer is using them for is unclear.) Some of the other genes the animal has acquired are known only from a few groups of bacteria and fungi.

Also, some species of whiptail lizards are almost entirely female. they reproduce asexually and form lesbian relationships with each other; they assume 'masculine' and 'feminine' roles in these relationships based on hormone levels. this pairing off id thought to increase fertility.

Science is pretty neat, huh?

As yourself Long Piggy, who conveniently keeps on finding these gay animals? Scientists. Sounds awfully convenient to me. Scientists come around and they next thing you know all the birds and bees are homoing it up.

I am sure your intention was not to make me giggle. Unfortunately for you, you did. The reason the scientists are the ones finding them is because the scientists have been trained in the field of biology and have devoted a lot of time to studying animals. I don't imagine that if you were to go out yourself and observe these animals, that you would be able to differentiate between, for example, platonic vs. sexual behaviors, not to mention being able to determine the sex of the creatures involved (it gets pretty tricky when you venture outside mammals). If you were to get the training necessary to do these things, you would then become a scientist. being religious and being a scientist are not mutually exclusive.
