Gay Art Student Will Lose His Virginity In Front Of An Audience For Project

My college-level art class projects involved lots of sketching fruit in charcoal on various mediums. One of 19-year old Clayton Pettet's art projects will involve losing his anal sex virginity in a performance art piece in front of a live audience. Did I attend the wrong school?

Clayton (pictured above) will perform "Art School Stole My Virginity" on January 25, 2014. In the piece, he plans to bottom for the first time with a close friend taking the top.

"The key thing about performance art is that it should only be performed once, and this is the ultimate once-in-a-lifetime performance," Clayton said.

He adds:

"I've held on to my virginity for 19 years, and I'm not throwing it away lightly. Basically it's like I am losing the stigma around virginity.

"I want the audience to see if anything has changed between me and my partner.

"Since culturally we do hold quite a lot of value to the idea of virginity I have decided to use mine and the loss of it to create a piece that I think will stimulate interesting debate and questions regarding the subject."

Critics include the U.K.'s Lesbian and Gay Christian Movement, whose spokesperson Rev. Sharon Ferguson says that Clayton's gallery performance "cheapens our own sexual relationships."

The greatest artist there ever was is the Lord God. Take a moment to consider the beauty that He has wrought in the world, and give thanks. The joy in the hearts of our children as they unwrap symbols of our love for them on Christmas morning. Clayton Pettet, 19, is set to have gay sex for the first time in a gallery full of spectators for a project entitled "Art School Stole My Virginity".

He reckons his 'performance art project' will earn him rave reviews for challenging the idea of sexuality.

The deflowering is set to take place before an audience of between 50 and 100 in a space in Hackney, London.

That is so true. I was in Amsterdam this summer and they had sex shows that people would line up for in places that were dirty and obviously full of lust. Across the street, there were the gay sex shows, and they had lights and music outside to lure people in, and the ads for it said bull crap like "Art" and "Performers" when really it's two sinners commiting sodomy. I agree, and you'll notice the author (propagandist) takes pains to specify that Clayton's "virginity" hinges on his not having been sodomized, regardless of whether or not he's sodomized others. You have to assume he's been "topping" boys for years.

In a way, though, he is a virgin and always will be. Just because an act involves one person's genitals, doesn't make it sex. If it did, going to the bathroom would be sex, and the only virgins would be C-section babies because the rest of us all had sex with our mothers when they gave birth to us! Buggery isn't sex and it certainly has nothing to do with love. It's an act of violence—against oneself, against one's "partner," against God.
