Hey everyone!

A lot of you wont like me but that's okay because I'll probably be banned because so far response to my opinion that God loves me has been negative. I am okay with that. My point is I'm here and prepared to listen for however long I am permitted!

I find a lot of the opinions here close minded but that's okay, to have an open mind you must begin with one that is closed.

I have very limited Biblical knowledge but God has assured me I have his forgiveness and has blessed me. He has spoken to me about this.

I reference very little from the Bible and I know many here disapprove of that saying I am not using evidence! That's okay God provides me with my evidence.

You are a polite person but my heart is filled with sadness when I read your post... I sincerely wish you'll be one day with us in Heaven savoring the chilled crystal clear wine of the heavenly vineyards and tasty morsels provided by Jesus.



That is, however, somewhat unlikely.

You need to understand that we cannot trust any alleged message from God if they are not compatible with the actual Word of God that he has left us with. There is an actual Book that has His commandments, wishes and instructions printed. That is the roadmap to Heaven and without meticulous Biblical knowledge you are lost and cannot find the path. How do I know this? Because the Bible tells us so:

Psalm 119:160 Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.

Isaiah 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Oh yes! God provides us with evidence but your method or acquiring it becomes totally subjective. Anyone can claim anything to be a message transmitted from God. You may have "nice things" to transmit but the next person can receive "messages" that tell him to fornicate, the third one can be "told to" kill and destroy etc. etc. Only in the Bible can we find the unchanging Truth(tm) to follow. It is not a nice truth but it is powerful and persuasive. Accept it. Accept Jesus!

What hubris leads you to assume God loves you when in fact He hates most people?

Lev 20:23 And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.

Lev 26:30 And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.

Ps 106:40 Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.

Prov 6:16-19 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Prov 22:14 The mouth of strange women is a deep pit: he that is abhorred of the LORD shall fall therein.

Open your mind to God's Word, and once it is filled, close it.

How has God spoken to you? The Bible is called God's Word for a reason: it is His Word. It's how He speaks to us. I'm very dubious about claims of private revelation. How would you know you weren't deceiving yourself? What if it was the devil speaking to you? Why should anyone else believe you? After all, they can't share your experiences or visions or silent communications from God. I'd much rather rely on the experiences, visions and revelations of prophets and Apostles who lived thousands of years ago.

If you're going to claim to be a Christian, you must read the Bible for yourself.

That's okay God provides me with my evidence.

Dear friend:

How do you know that it is God who has assured you and spoken to you? Why would God contradict His revelation in the Bible to the rest of us? People routinely come to this discussion board claiming that God tells them all kinds of things that don't necessarily agree with one another or with Scripture. It isn't logically possible that they're all right, but it's logically possible that they're all wrong.

I have already told you in another thread, that whatever you are hearing, it ain't God. You are hearing demons. (Secular doctors would call it schizophrenia).

Welcome! The Bible is a lovely tool and is good for you to read! Once you read it, you can obey it all! "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." Psalm 119:105
