What you actually saw was merely some activity on her account.

That's not evidence of Cookie's actual presence.

But hey, the "let's fit the evidence to our pre-determined conclusion" is the prevailing mindset around here, so go nuts.

Ugh. What a fiasco.
A 'Granny Junes Special' (what mans east a cucumber???)from a lunch truck was not the right meal to give to Pastors and Senior Church Fellows. Seems I have to cover the meals and entertainment expense on the next retreat.
Hiring 'Bob's Aerial Plane and Cropdusting' while it may of been cheap, did not bode well for six passengers flying in from Las Vegas after a stressful weekend of lay of hands on the youthful lost sheep encountered on Fremont.

Oh, How I miss entering the Church office, that scent of a lady barely there, the pump dangling from toes as Miss Cookie would suddenly turn in her chain, glasses part way dow, eyes peering over the tops and in the self assured voice say " Well hello James, What can I do for YOU?' Now I get a a squeaking chair and a scratchy 'Whaaat? Speak up! Where are my glasses?"

I know you are a True Christian man, and you keep your promises as the Bible commands. Numbers 30:2 - If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth. Thus, I'm wondering, what is "soon"?

Jesus (in the Bible) used the word "soon" to describe many things that still have not come to pass almost 2,000 years later.

I don't, and what I don't understand is where you get off mocking the Lord God Almighty, the Bible, and True Christians.

I'm just certain Cookie will be back at her desk "soon," and performing all of her old "duties," and "serving" the pastors with the same enthusiasm and efficiency she has always brought to her "job."

I'm just giving Cookie my vote of confidence, that's all.
