    Yo

I'm a normal person, just like everyone else. I came nearly for the same reason Grim Smile came here for, to see new people and learn about their beliefs. I also am in a commitment to make a profile for every forum I come across. XD

I believe in and love Christ and God. I was born into the church. I read my scriptures regularly. I haven't found a favorite verse yet, but I do come across some I like at times. I will say a prayer at times I feel alone or am having troubles in life. I go to church every Sunday, but have recently been missing Tuesday activities at my church due to school (dang it studies!)

As a hobby, I combine different stories and make something new in my head. I combine the craziest of stories. It's fun to me and it gives me something to do when I'm bored.

My favorite genres in games are horror, survival, puzzle, and action. If you care: Favorite puzzle game would have to be SOMA. Favorite action is Half-Life 2. Survival is Don't Starve. Horror is Until Dawn.

My favorite genres in movies are comedy, sometimes action, and adventurous (probably not a specific genre, but I mean just adventures in general). Again, if you care: Can't say what my favorite comedy movie is, just because there are too many that I think are just average. Favorite action movie would have to be Rush Hour. Favorite adventure would have to be the Avatar series (it's a TV show, I know, but I didn't want to make a separate favorite category for TV shows)

For fun, I play with my friends on various games over the internet. My favorite subjects in school are Math and Science. I despise History just because memorizing is very low on my talents, and History is purely specifically remembering everything.

    My favorite two quote are,
“Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind.”
    ― Albert Einstein
“People can tell you to keep your mouth shut, but that doesn't stop you from having your own opinion.”
    ― Anne Frank

I'm not the most optimistic person, but I try to stay positive.

Lets see how well this goes! I hope for an okay time here exploring different beliefs and discussions.

P.S. Small suggestion. It's probably better to mark people as "Unknown" rather than "Unsaved Trash". Haha! It's just more welcoming that way.
    because things.

Why hello there, Steaaaal! I'm so glad you have found God's Favorite Forums™! I just know Christ Jesus has led you here with a purpose.

I notice you quoted the famous agnostic/pantheist Albert Einstein. The quote may have been taken a bit out of context, though. You see, old Albert was not a fan of religion at all. I mean, his ancestors murdered Christ, so I guess it's best he stayed away from religion. And Anne Frank rejected Christ. We can see where that got her, lol!

So, how old are you? What would you do for Jesus? How far would you go to please Him?

I understand being shy about what you would be willing to do for Christ's love. Let me put it another way. If Jesus was standing with you alone on a beautiful sunny beach with the wind blowing and the waves crashing all around you and you both were hot and had just gotten out of the water and then He spontaneously offered you a delicious Popsicle and asked you to prove your love for Him to earn His Popsicle, what would you do? What would you do for the Popsicle?

Yes. Hello, Mr. Yo. Welcome! I am Harsha Shah and I am also a seeker of knowledge. Are you also of Asian descentt with the name Yo? I have been telling these nice people the tale of the blind men and the elephant. Some are touching only the trunk and take it for a firehose. Some are feeling the legs and taking them as pillars. No-one sees into the eyes of the animals and into its soul.

I hope I am not offending you but I have met here people who are also christians but they seem to have a religion different from yours.

For fun, I play with my friends on various games over the internet. My favorite subjects in school are Math and Science. I despise History just because memorizing is very low on my talents, and History is purely specifically remembering everything.

I am thinking that these people over here do not share your view of science. I am thinking that science is a neutral tool that strives for the best explanation. Yes. This is different from these people. These people are explaining that unless you follow all the commandments you are doomed. They are saying that if the words of the Bible are contradicting science, it is Bible first and science only second. Yes.

I am not saying that I am going to change my religion into christianity but do you have a christianity different from the christianity of these poeple. Should I be considering it instead? Yes.

Yes. Women are saving lives. It is time we are speaking! Yes!

I'm a little concerned that you hate History. How can you love Jesus and hate History.

The Bible is a historical document: are you saying the Bible(KJV1611) is boring?

That's not likely to earn you muscular respect around here.

              Re: Yo

Welcome then, unnamed person. We are very friendly here and open to all opinions and beliefs, as long as they are Christian opinions and beliefs. If you seek congress with other Christians, you have come to the right place. Thank you for your thoughtful advice, but the fact is that almost all who come among us are, in fact, unsaved trash, here to bring vexation upon travelers of the Jesus road. We are always hopeful to find more Christians among the passers through, but mainly our hopes are dashed upon the rock of Satan. It is his people who come among us daily to try to injure us. Still, we persist with our welcoming and friendly ways, as we search for other Christians in a dangerous world. Sadly, until you prove your devotion for Jesus, you must remain unsaved trash.

Why not tell us of your adventures in seeking Jesus? God Bless!

Well, you see, 99.9% of the newcomers turn out to be, well, unsaved trash. I suppose it saves us some time to label all newcomers this way, and remove the label in the 0.1% cases it turns out to be untrue.

You comments about history have been mentioned but I do have a question. If you don't read some history how do you know that Jesus existed?

Christians of course pray to Him by name and He is mentioned by Josephus so we know how valid the historical evidence is. But if you don't have the historical information how can you say that someone who worships Hercules and who prays to him by name is wrong about Hercules, but you are right about Jesus?

Flavius Josephus - Antiquities of the Jews I
CHAPTER 15 HOW THE NATION OF THE TROGLODYTES WERE DERIVED FROM ABRAHAM BY KETURAH.

ABRAHAM after this married Keturah, by whom six sons were born to him, men of courage, and of sagacious minds: Zambran, and Jazar, and Madan, and Madian, and Josabak, and Sous. Now the sons of Sous were Sabathan and Dadan. The sons of Dadan were Latusim, and Assur, and Luom. The sons of Madiau were Ephas, and Ophren, and Anoch, and Ebidas, and Eldas. Now, for all these sons and grandsons, Abraham contrived to settle them in colonies; and they took possession of Troglodytis, and the country of Arabia the Happy, as far as it reaches to the Red Sea. It is related of this Ophren, that he made war against Libya, and took it, and that his grandchildren, when they inhabited it, called it (from his name) Africa. And indeed Alexander Polyhistor gives his attestation to what I here say; who speaks thus: "Cleodemus the prophet, who was also called Malchus, who wrote a History of the Jews, in agreement with the History of Moses, their legislator, relates, that there were many sons born to Abraham by Keturah: nay, he names three of them, Apher, and Surim, and Japhran. That from Surim was the land of Assyria denominated; and that from the other two (Apher and Japbran) the country of Africa took its name, because these men were auxiliaries to Hercules, when he fought against Libya and Antaeus; and that Hercules married Aphra's daughter, and of her he begat a son, Diodorus; and that Sophon was his son, from whom that barbarous people called Sophacians were denominated."
