    Hello world!

Hi, I'm new to this forum, and I hope to have a good time here. I'm not very radical, I'm just an average joe who attends church every sunday and reads his bible, and does his prayers. I will act as a "devil's advocate" in debates to show an opposing viewpoint from time to time, and while I may not share radical ideologies, I think we can agree on something. I won't use swears on these forums or personally attack its members.

You may have missed this part (it's right above your post):

"Attention Unsaved Trash: This the ONLY subforum you can start threads in. Here is where you introduce yourself. Tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus."

      Right, sorry.
I attend NewSpring Church in South Carolina, and I often have trouble understanding the old English of the bible, but my favorite verse is Psalms 103:2-5 "Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits,
3 who forgives all your iniquity,
      who heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit,
who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
5 who satisfies you with good
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's."

How does that work on a forum dedicated to sharing and teaching the word of Jesus? Directly from the Bible. I hadn't realized the Bible was debatable. Can someone help me on this? I feel a pain in my chest and I think there is toast burning in the kitchen.

I agree with you, BAW. Why would a person join a forum and start off with "I intend to disagree with you"? If you want to disagree with us, then do so and enjoy . There is no need to join our friendly forum and announce such nonsense. Plus I get a gay vibe. Not sure the OP is a Christian at all.

              Re: Hello world!

Greetings Mr. Gogue. I make you welcome here though I lack that authority. I am not exactly a member of this forum because it is a forum for white people who are Baptists. I believe that you are a white man as well so these white people will probably welcome you.

These people are Christians here and I must warn you that they will not be happy about a man who comes to represent the point of view of the Devil. They may try to catch you if you anger them and they know where you are. They sent some scientists to make measurements of my head when I first came to this site and they would not tell me how they knew where to find me.

The Baptists find my own beliefs to be blasphemous and I have been rebuked for talking too much about them but I have said nothing about the Devil's point of view. For the most part I have been well received. My advice to you is to avoid speaking for the Devil or you may find one of their Pastors in your closet with a large stick when you come home one night.

I didn't mean the "devils advocate" part literally, it just means to bring another viewpoint. I think that on a forum such as this one, ***inappropriate reference to communal self-abuse removed by moderator*** can ruin a perfectly fine conversation. And some parts of the Bible are "debatable" I meant how different people have different interpretations of written text, not everybody thinks in the same way, I think that there's room for discussion. I am not here to start a riot, but to foster good and healthy conversation with like-minded people.

I let Jesus into my heart when my grandmother had a heart complication, and I wanted to save her from hell by convincing her to let Christ into her soul. I used to be an atheist, I still believe that some scientists know what they're talking about, but there's just no way people can survive without the guidance of Jesus.

Let me see if I understand correctly. You think a church group that gathers to fellowship together is analogous to a group of sinners raping each other in a never ending circle for the purposes of reaching the most sinful kind of orgasm that exists?

                    Welcome?

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

No, I don't believe a church is aa group of sinners, what I was intending to say is that a conversation is stale if everybody agrees with each other all the time. Say you're debating with someone that has the exact same viewpoint as you, it's not a debate at that point. Before anyone says "the bible can't be debated," it cant be debated as it is God's word, but his real test for us lies in deciphering his messages.

Wait a minute. First off, this is not a debate forum. We're right and you're wrong, as per God Almighty Himself.

Second off, the messages of the Holy Bible are not written in code. What do you think Jesus did when He wrote it as the Holy Ghost, channeled his inner cereal box detective code persona and wrote things to be read as other things?

                        That's absurd.

Don't let the door hit you on your way out, sweetie, but I really don't get your point. The Bible is written in quite plain language. Do you really think that God would be so cruel to leave us a Life Manual that was so obscure it would have different interpretations?
