I write this introduction to comply with the request that I do so. My name is Donna and I live in Australia, as my user name implies. Being a "beginner" here at Landover, I suppose my favourite Bible verse would be Genesis 1:1, which is both the beginning of the Bible as we speak of it here, and also refers to "the beginning".

I do not regularly attend any particular church. In my youth I was both sprinkled and dipped, at the will of parents, then I was re-dipped for good measure by my own choice after Jesus found me. Apparently I was lost, so I was relieved when He found me.

I can see that Landover Baptist is a virtual paradise for fundamentalist Christians, so I look forward to finding out what these types of people are like. I appreciate this opportunity to interact with others, including the occasional fundamentalist, providing that fundamentally we do so in a fundamentally fun and considerate manner.

For those who took the time to read my little self-introduction, I leave you with the thought that you no doubt already have in mind: Why?

Welcome, Donna. We have had a number of Austrians who have found us here lately. Some have turned out to be heathens, but that is always the case. It is the Christians we seek, regardless of the number of unsaved wretches we have to go through to find them. This is the area where you tell us all about yourself. Tell us your congregation, your Pastor, how you found Jesus and everything else.

Dipping is bad for you. It will rot your gums. Plus when you spit, it gets on your shoes and shirt.

Tell me all about your walk with Jesus and when you discovered Him holding you in His all powerful arms and inserting His Love deep into you.
What have you done to protect yourself from the syrian invasion? At my winter place in Sun City, I've got 20' high walls, concertina wire and of course, two HK's and four spare clips.

Only Jesus knows what I am thinking I was not thinking Why I was thinking about what I will have for dinner probably sardines and cornbread look at Psalms 139:2 it says:

Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.

Downsitting means sitting down it is not a common word even the Bible only uses it one time.

I am overwhelmed (though I'm not sure what just being normally whelmed is) by the thoughtful, considerate replies to my tiny intro.
I did mention already about my affiliations or lack of there or thereof, and I also mentioned that Jesus found me and perhaps not verse-vica or vice-versa verse-vica. I have not reached the insertion phase of my walk, for that kind commentor, but I'm sure if I do I will be blessed.

As for my daily walk, yes, thank-you, I'm enjoying that very much, I'm welcome.

I don't know if I'm in heathen yet, as some have assumed, but I look forward to getting to Heathen after I am buried (cremation is CLEARLY for not-believingers, in fact they are cremated constantly forever, as I read it).

While it might seem odd that I reply to my own post, I assure you that I talk to myself quite a lot, so it is very normal for me.

Jesus talked to God quite a lot (John 11:41-42). Since Jesus IS God (John 10:30), clearly Jesus was talking to Himself a lot. So you are in good company.

I have been to Austria myself a few times. I love the currywurst. Unfortunately Austria also brought the world Conchita Wurst. A direct insult to God that will never be forgotten. I assume you left the country after that happened?

I am not a Baptist but these white people tolerate me anyway as long as I do not make them angry. Yes, I Man, considerable quantities of beer are consumed regularly in Australia, though mostly for medicinal and capitalistic reasons, both of which are honourable in the sight of our Lord. I personally try to help, but being a sub-man species, a woman, I must be more modest than most , hence I rarely consume more than two cartons of beer per week, God forgive me very much.

I love the way you remind me of my great-grandfather's close friend, Mr Jolson. I hope your research into the white peoples is most fruity (or is it fruitful?) . . anyway . . thank-you for your interest in this great Southern Land, I Man.

Oh, just so many things compel me in those verses!! Especially like the part with words . . . and, and, the begetting!!! As a girl, I never get to beget, so I get excited thinking about begetting.

Though the verse numbers do tend to get (there's that "get" yet again!) repetitive, I still find them interesting. It's nice to know that all I have to do is read the words, and I become a better person, even if I don't really know what it's talking about a lot of the time.

That really helps a girl like me.

I don't have a husband-father, because my father is already married to my mother. So, you might have me confused with my mother in that case, reverend.

I am not known for my brightness, but even I can sense ungodly sarcasm in your posts. So then why not share with us the true reasons for your visit to God's forums? You will find many friendly people here - yet your journey is on footing that most will not find too sure. You were asked to pick ONE favorite verse from our GOD's HOLY WORD. Instead, you blithely chose the entire Book. You do this to spit in the face of Baby Jesus, no doubt, but His Smile remains. No amount of your spit could ever cause our Savior's love to fade.
