Hi, I'm a 17-year-old girl from Canada. I have been a Christian my whole life, but lately I've been having a lot of questions about the religion. I go to an Associated Gospel church. Oh, and I have Asperger's syndrome. Hope to get to know you guys!

Remember, I'm still figuring out what my religion is. So I don't know for sure. But I believe that Christianity is about love.

I was professionally diagnosed. Asperger's isn't the same thing as mental retardation (though there's nothing wrong with having mental retardation). And based on what I've seen, and what Didymus Much said, this is NOT a place of love and acceptance.

15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

Please note the "if" in the last verse. it is a very big if.

But the Samaritan--someone who is hated and despised--stops to help him. This is saying that the most religious person isn't always right, but the most LOVING person is, even if that person is from a group that is often hated.

But it is possible for you to do.

I'll give you a minute to go look up argumentum ad populum, or "appeal from majority". Hint: it's a fallacy, and using such just exposes the weakness of your case.

If the True Christians™ have any sorrow, it's that so many refuse to follow God's commands. My sorrow arises from how many REFUSE TO READ WHAT THE F'ING BIBLE ACTUALLY SAYS SO THEY HAVE HALF A FREAKING CLUE WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT WHEN TRYING TO DISCUSS THESE MATTERS instead of proudly parading their WILFUL ignorance for the entire internet to see.
