  • Hi, and possibly goodbye

    Hi everyone,

    I'm Unbridgeable, from South America. I was a really happy person, living a good life, until I found something terrifying.
    I always thought I was white. Then I found that one of my ancestors (grand grand mother) was a mix between white and indian. That automatically makes me a mix.
    So I worried about my salvation, and Catholic Church came to me with what I now know are blatant lies: that heaven is for everyone, and so on.
    I kept on looking for information, but my possibilities were limited. Until I found KJV in this forum. And then, the truth: mixes are doomed to go to hell. Or that's what I gather from here.
    It is the word of God, so I have no salvation.
    So I wondered if I could come here and ask for advice. Is it true that I have no salvation? I don't remember exactly were in the Bible is it, but I'm sure is it there.
    What should I do in that case?
    Thanks for enlightning me. I was about to have children and marry a white (pure) woman. That would have been a crime!


    PS: Of course I was not born in an English spoken country, so please bear with my English. That's another sign that God hates me.

      Welcome to the forum. The Christians here are probably interested in some more information, trhat is why they put it in the forum description: ¨Here is where you introduce yourself. Tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus.¨ Perhaps you could oblige?

        Hi! Thank you for that. I really don't know the KJV as well as I should to name a favorite verse, and I'm limited in my knowledge of the language of God (I said before, English, but I should have said American)
        But I could name a "transitional" favourite until I finish my studies, that would be Corinthians 6:9 - 6:11.


        9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
        10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
        11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.


        Because it talks about how someone could stop being a sinner, and become a Christian.
        About Church, I only have one close to my house (Iglesia Evangélica Bautista) but I'm not sure if they are following the word of God completely.

              Protip: when quoting Scripture to support your point, quote Scripture that actually supports your point, such as Genesis 24:37, Genesis 28:6, or maybe Jeremiah 16:2. You'll look a little less of an uneducated, ignorant, self-righteous, obnoxious turd that way.

                Thank you, but I'm not a Negro, I think I'm even worst than that. Will God help me anyway? If so, I will sign up for the program. However, as you know, reading more than 70 words in a row is hard for me. I'm not white, you know?

                  I don't know if I should thank you. In my quest to find if I can be saved, talking with atheist could be a problem.

                      I don't know. Frankly, I don't care. I don't attach any emotions to people I meet until I know they are Saved. The LORD wants it this way (Leviticus 10:10; Proverbs 14:7; 1st Corinthians 10:20; 2nd Corinthians 6:17; Ephesians 5:11).

                          Hello and to our friendly forum!

                          While it is true that God doesn't approve of most mixed marriages, He seems to be OK with some race mixing:

                          Deuteronomy 20:13-18
                          13 And when the Lord thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword:
                          14 But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which the Lord thy God hath given thee.
                          15 Thus shalt thou do unto all the cities which are very far off from thee, which are not of the cities of these nations.
                          16 But of the cities of these people, which the Lord thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth:
                          17 But thou shalt utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee:
                          18 That they teach you not to do after all their abominations, which they have done unto their gods; so should ye sin against the Lord your God.

                          As you can see, genocide is the best way to prevent race-mixing. However, Deuteronomy 20:14 gives a glimpse of hope for you. You need to ask yourself these questions:

                          1) Is the woman whom you're thinking of from a nearby land?

                          2) Does she follow some weird religion which would endanger you to be exposed to such abominations?

                          If the answer to both questions is "no," then you should be safe! You might want to refer to Deuteronomy 21:10-17 for further directions.

                            That's a good plan, Mr Unbridgeable. If you have any questions at all about what you read, feel free to ask us.

                            And do not feel that being mixed-race necessarily blocks your salvation. As Sister Mary has explained, much can be done through prayer and repentance. My own 3 stepdaughters are mixed-race. Although my husband was not made aware of it at the time of his first marriage, their mother had Welsh ancestry some generations back, on her mother's side. The girls have turned out perfectly fine: two of them have made good Christian marriages and we have great hopes for the third.

                            Rest assured that we are all praying for you, dear. 2 Corinthians 4:6.
