I probably won't be here for ages, I'm doing research on religious attitudes to varying things like fitness,food, LGBT rights and other things. But just to give a little background of myself. I'm from the UK, a liberal atheist, scientist,researcher, martial artist and amateur cricket player.

As a certified equine gnathologist about to become a veterinarian by mail and obtain my PhD in Creation Science, I hope you understand that even someone in my lofty status finds time to question your intentions here.


I doubt you are much of a researcher, since you didn't pay attention to the requirements of this board where you tell us what church you attend (atheist or not, some attend church), what your favorite Bible verse is (Even our insufferable Didymus Much provided this information, and he, like you, is misinformed about the OBVIOUS existence of God), and how you came to find Jesus. Of course that latter requirement is to be fulfilled shortly if you remain in fellowship with us.


I have added you to my electronic prayer list, sir or madam, and wish to inform you that prayer is powerful. Already, Jesus and the angels are talking about the most efficient way to penetrate your very being and wash you in the Blood of the Lamb(TM).

Welcome, heathen. Your curiosity about Christianity likely stems from some deep inner need to embrace Jesus, whether you understand that or not. Christians are scant in godless England, but not so scant as to be unknown by the English. Your introduction is sparse, but thick with information. You are a godless Englishman and as a liberal atheist, you are three times a fool. As a scientist investigating crickets (and apparently developing unhealthy relationships) you show yourself to be antisocial, irrelevant and uninvolved with mankind.

Your sole saving grace would be your artistry. We are very familiar with many English paintings of famous generals and kings, mostly mounted, which depict the massacre of the enemies of God from back when England was a Christian country. The martial art of England is a sad reminder of those good old days. What do you paint now that England has sunken into the mud of heathenism?

I believe that the Lord led you here, fellow, that you might know Him. Shed your atheist and communist impulses and come on over to the bright, shiny side of Jesus. It's that or Hell. Don't go there; it's too hot.

Miss Shark, do you have adequate permissions to conduct research on human subjects from the ethics committee at your institution? Where is your informed consent and why are you asking any questions before any of us had an occasion to see it and sign it?

I have a question: is being a martial artist (someone who travels around war zones with a palette and easel) not a dangerous and inappropriate occupation for a young woman?

Creation science is not science. That's like having a degree in the science of harry potter, it didn't happen, creation is not science. In responce to your question, I do not attend church, I don't take the bible as true but I like some of the stories like the healing of the sick and so on.

My interest in religion in general stems from a need to understand the myths that so many believe, and to present reasonable and logical truths, science. I don't know a great deal about crickets the insect, I play the sport cricket on Saturday afternoons. I am a liberal, not a communist, the difference is quite clear.

This forum is dedicated to shining a light on the truth about the Bible. We speak to the people who think they know the Bible and graciously tolerate those who don't believe as long as they behave when posting here. The Bible says that God created the Universe. That's all the science that Bible-Believers need. An in accordance with the Bible, Harry Potter would not be allowed to live.


Everyone likes the stories about healing the sick. Accepting the stories that aren't so well liked is the mark of the True Believer.

You should perhaps bear in mind that you are not in the below-the-line comments section of the Daily Express, but on a US-based forum. It would help if you could please define what exactly you mean by "liberal". Liberal in the sense of the late homosexual dog-murderer Jeremy Thorpe, currently burning in Hell? Liberal in the sense of the 8 MPs currently wasting space and oxygen on the back benches of the House of Commons? Or liberal in the sense of the replicant Hillary Clinton?

I'm new here as well I live in south london. Where do you live? I came here to get someone to protect me as I'm in trouble with local gangsta's that I owe money. Street pastors told me God would protect me.


Everyone here has been really friendly although I did get some infractions for trying to sell weed to trevor (really sorry miss basilica and Mr Alvin - I won't do it again)

I apologise for not clarifying my position. As I said before, I live in the UK and acordingly my politics is most centred on the UK parties. Yes, I do support the Liberal Democrats in the House of Commons, and am a member of their party and support the current leader wholeheatedly, although I do question their previous position on tuition fees. If I were in America, I would have voted for Sanders as Clinton is still too far right for me. If it came down to now though, I would definately vote Hillary to stop that raving lunatic Trump getting in office. I hope that answers your question.
