knew this about Him

Of course, sunshine. However, the reasons which seem good to Him may not seem so good for us mortal humans.

For example - someone squeamish could say that Jesus went overboard with the whole Hitler/Stalin duo, yet He must have good reasons for sending them both:

Isaiah 54:16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.

After all, Jesus creates both good and evil - and according to your own logic, He has to have good reasons to do so:

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.

When the Prophet Isaiah wrote these words, he was referring to G_d, not your Jesus - the wandering miscreant who tried unsuccessfully to convince the masses he was something he was not.


The G_d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob formed the light and creates darkness so that creation can rest and awaken, ready to serve Him. Jesus had many people deluded into thinking that he could do wondrous things. For instance, medical professionals have speculated that Lazarus was not actually dead when your fake messiah supposedly raised him from the moribund. Instead, he had likely fallen victim to a disease that makes one appear dead - even slows the respiratory and circulatory system to the point that even some modern instruments cannot detect life signs. Back then, there were no stethoscopes, etc. so people were often buried alive.

I also find it interesting that in your blasphemous post you omit the reference to God creating evil - I see now that selective reading of Scripture is something that Jews share with false Christians.

Mr. Hezekiah, I really must take exception to the manner in which you address our dear Sister Basilissa. It is disconcerting in so many ways.


Furthermore, she would not be traveling to NYC to grab coffee or any other beverages or consumables with the likes of you, sir. Offering to pay for her ticket is impertinent, to say the least.


If you accept Jesus as Lord, Messiah, Savior and One With Almighty God and then tithe your way into acceptance with the Pastors of Landover Baptist and then approach her father in the right spirit, perhaps then she will deign to acknowledge your suit.


Somehow, I doubt that will ever happen. But when you are writhing in Hell and she is otherwise occupied with praising Jesus, she may spare you a glance down in the depths of the underworld and nod graciously in recognition of your former invitation.


Sister Basilissa, I hope that I have not overstepped my own bounds. As a True Christian(tm) Sister of a certain age, I felt obliged to offer the sort of set-down that brash young men of his ilk require from time to time.

Since this is a Baptist site, you may rest assured that the people here are of the notion that Jesus of Nazareth is the son of G_d. However, they are mistaken.


If you study much Jewish history, you'll find that we - the Jews - tried time and time again to help this Jesus guy out, but he was so stubborn and headstrong, especially once he got it in his head that he was somehow divine. Messiah will come soon; many signs point to it. The philosopher and activist known as Jesus, however, is most definitely just a misguided carpenter from a backward land. G_d is not so stupid as to send Messiah at a time when he could not reach the masses. G_d has no reason to send His creation to burn in eternal hell because He loves us. His provision is shown for us throughout Torah and all Jewish scholarly texts.


I have found this site to be very contentious if you do not agree with them so if you are here to debate, I would tread lightly. If, however, you regurgitate everything they believe in and follow their Jesus blindly, you'll be fine and most welcome.


I'd also recommend support for the 2nd Amendment.

Exactly. It truly pains my heart to know that there are people out there who hate Jesus so much that they go on the Internet to mock Him and bug Godly Christian people.

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

I'm so glad that Jesus will take away all our pain. It would be awful to feel bad for all of the sinners burning in Hell. That means that we will laugh at all of these trolls, forever and ever!
