It seems that you deeply misunderstand us, honey. Having opinions is really bad - it can lead to having a negative opinion about some of the moral guidelines of the Holy Bible (which include but are not limited to approval of genocide, slavery, racism, and oppression of women). Hence, we do not hold opinions. We simply stick to what the Holy Bible says and try not to think too much about it.

We chose to be fools for Christ's sake:

Oh no, another invalid argument. First of all, if people with higher intelligence were so hated by God, how come from he appreciated the act when David asked for wisdom. And there is nothing wrong with being very intelligent, without people of high intelligence we would be even more doomed than we are already, he probably does hate the higher intelligence people who control the Illuminati and the corrupt agenda, and New World Order. Now here is where the problem is. If we disagree about the contents of the Bible, how can we follow its rules - if we cannot even agree to what the rules are?

OK, so here is what God says about learning about opinions of people whose opinions are not your opinions:

Deuteronomy 7:2-5
2 And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:
3 Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.
4 For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.
5 But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.

As you can see, learning opinions is not only discouraged, it is in fact forbidden and the God approved way to avoid it is to commit genocide of all the people who have different opinions.

God wants us to kill those family members who disagree with us (that means, who hold different opinions) on the issue of religion.

Don't confuse wisdom (knowing and following God's Will) and intelligence (the use of logic, understanding, creativity and problem solving). The former requires knowledge of the Written Word of God. The latter requires rational thinking skills, and we know how much God hates Rational Thinking!

The obvious answer is that if David already had wisdom he wouldn't need to ask for it would he.

As has already been pointed out you are not following Scripture which means that you're not complying with God's conditions for Salvation.
