After much browsing through these forums, I decided to make a post I debated with myself about. I am a young bisexual black man, I guess what I'm trying to ask is why? Why is there so much hate in your hearts? I pity you but you shouldn't feel offended. I just pity that you feel you have to go through life hating people for who they are. I was raised in a Christian household and I'm grateful to all my mother and father raised me to be, however I cannot stand behind hating other humans that God made, for nothing. If God truly does not make mistakes then that means all his children are his children, I believe that he didn't make me or any other non-white or homosexual or atheist or Scientologist or radical feminist or woman unequal to any other. We are all human, we are all on this Earth together. Why fight about it? We are all in this crazy ride called life together, why go through it feeling bitter. I often find myself awake at night after recalling a christian saying he wanted to kill me, for no other reason then my liking of men. I wasn't particularly scared of his comment, rather I was brought to tears because this man lived life hating others. Our lives are too short to hate others, why not spread love and peace instead? I guess I just want to know why? I thank you and appreciate any answers you have.

Re: Why?
It just makes me sad that anyone has to go through life feeling like they have to hate anyone else that hasn't done anything to them. Life is so much more fulfilling when you choose to accept and love people, when you open yourself up to understanding others. I guess that's why I made this thread, because I also wish to understand the very people who hate me.

Oh my goodness! That's it exactly! All anyone really needs is to stop denying their nature and embrace who they really are! And we are at the very basic level, sinners in the hands of a stubborn and irascible God, but One who offered up His Only Begotten Son to pay the price of our sins by becoming a Living and Perfect Sacrifice, to offer a Holy Ransom unto the Lord thy God so He could wave the punishment of Death and give us Eternal Life!Originally posted by Didymus Much View PostThe True Christians™ just wish that you'd stop rebelling and accept that you'll never be happy, deny everything you are, and accept Christ. Glory!
The question is dear OP, do you want to live for eternity cut off from Christ and all those who love Him, in the company of Satan and all his demon lackeys who will torture you forever for failing to obey their mortal enemy the Lord thy God, or in the company of the Saints and Angles singing the praises of our Lord and Master for ever and ever and ever!?! What's a few years of denying your fleshly desires when the Reward is Heaven with us!Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Re: Why?
That's not it at all, the God I know is merciful and he doesn't make mistakes, if he doesn't make mistakes then none of us were mistakes, it's not a fleshly desire, it's who we are. You were born a woman?(I'm assuming based on your picture) do you think God wanted you to always submit to a man? You are just as equal to a man as a man is to another man. We all are, that's the way we were born. God will accept me when I meet him at the gates, because this is how he made me. Something as simple as my skin tone or the person that I am attracted to are things that I was born with. I will still receive my reward right along with you. The question was why do you hate me when I'm equal to you? We are both human. We were both created by God. Or do you think God made an error when he chose to create me? Do you think that one of God's treasures are worth less than another?=The question is dear OP, do you want to live for eternity cut off from Christ and all those who love Him, in the company of Satan and all his demon lackeys who will torture you forever for failing to obey their mortal enemy the Lord thy God, or in the company of the Saints and Angles singing the praises of our Lord and Master for ever and ever and ever!?! You're confused, dear. God doesn't make mistakes, He makes sinful humans. Your choice is to embrace that sin and be punished forever, or embrace His mercy and be obedient (John 14:15; Ecclesiastes 12:13).Originally posted by InquisitiveOne View PostThat's not it at all, the God I know is merciful and he doesn't make mistakes, if he doesn't make mistakes then none of us were mistakes, it's not a fleshly desire, it's who we are. Re: Why?
Ok, we agree that the Bible calls for your death; see Leviticus 20:13 for example. Now, that verse doesn't specify the method of execution most pleasing to God in that circumstance, but the only one mentioned in that section is death by fire in Leviticus 20:14 so we'll go with that.Originally posted by InquisitiveOne View PostI'm not sure what either of your comments was conveying, I apologize, if you could reword them a bit simpler it might help.
If, when you're being led down to the stake to be burned alive, the people are yelling and screaming and calling you bad names and scowling and stuff, those people hate you for being gay and are not good Christians.
But if the True Christians(tm) were hauling you screaming in terror knowing that your last moments are quickly approaching, that they will be needlessly painful, and that you're going to soon die (wishing it was sooner) in an excruciating manner, they'd be happy, laughing, singing, and smiling because they're obeying God, and those are good Christians, according to the Bible.

to our forum!
How do you know that strange "god" of yours?
Because God Whom we know, God of the Bible, is more often vengeful than merciful.
It's not about being a mistake.if he doesn't make mistakes then none of us were mistakes,
It's about Hell which God created to send 99.9% of humanity there.
He could have created all humans perfect; in this case He would not need to create Hell. But He created Hell, and apparently He does not want it to stay empty, so He had no choice but create people flawed.
It doesn't matter what she thinks. It only matters what God thinks:do you think God wanted you to always submit to a man?
Ephesians 5:22-24
22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so [let] the wives [be] to their own husbands in every thing.
Why would you think that any of us hates you?The question was why do you hate me when I'm equal to you?
It doesn't matter what we think. It's only God's opinion that matters. We are both human. We were both created by God. Or do you think God made an error when he chose to create me? Do you think that one of God's treasures are worth less than another?
I hope that was helpful, dear.

Re: Why?
No one has claimed that God makes mistakes. Please refute the arguments given (using Scripture, of course), not what just pops into your head.Originally posted by InquisitiveOne View Post...the God I know is merciful and he doesn't make mistakes...
1 Corinthians 11:3 "But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God."... You were born a woman?(I'm assuming based on your picture) do you think God wanted you to always submit to a man?...
That's a yes.
That's a demand, not a plea....God will accept me when I meet him at the gates...
Nobody is arguing with the precept that God made you that way. The problem is with your "God made it therefore good" fallacy....Something as simple as my skin tone or the person that I am attracted to are things that I was born with...
Isaiah 45:7 "I form the light, and create darkness:I make peace, and create evil:
I the Lord do all these things."
Proverbs 16:4 "TheLordhath made allthingsfor himself:Yea, even the wicked for the day of evil."
That's not what the Bible says. If you don't agree with the Bible, how are you are a Christian?....I will still receive my reward right along with you...
STOP. THAT. SHIT....The question was why do you hate me...

Re: Why?
Thank you it was helpful, however that is not the same sentiment that I see throughout this website and throughout life, I see people consumed in hate, trying so hard to appease God that they lose sight of what really matters when it comes to serving the Lord, which is accepting his creations, all I see is people who construe his words and make it appear that hate is what's needed, I don't see acceptance, I browse through these forums and see people using racial slurs and "be afraid of the blacks in their neighborhood corrupting their children" are these things acceptable? Or should we be trying to be more accepting of all of God's children.Originally posted by Basilissa View PostHi sweetie and

Please do not confuse any so-called "Christians" you see out in the wild with the True Christians(tm) of Landover. Most of the ones you've encountered outside have never even opened their Bibles, whereas the True Christians(tm) know (and obey) every last bit of it.Originally posted by InquisitiveOne View Post...throughout life...

Re: Why?
Trust me, what you see here on this website is 100% dedication to what really matters when it comes to serving the Lord. Unlike many other Christian denominations, we pay very detailed attention to what the Bible says, and we don't make up stuff that is not in there.Originally posted by InquisitiveOne View PostThank you it was helpful, however that is not the same sentiment that I see throughout this website and throughout life, I see people consumed in hate, trying so hard to appease God that they lose sight of what really matters when it comes to serving the Lord,
If you are going to keep making statements such like this one, you need to start citing Scripture to support your opinions.which is accepting his creations,
Otherwise, why should anyone pay any attention to your unsupported opinion about what God wants?
Sorry to disappoint you, but hate shows up in the Bible much more often than love does. God of the Bible is hateful. Can you blame His followers for emulating His example?all I see is people who construe his words and make it appear that hate is what's needed,
That is because God is not accepting. Why should we, His followers, disagree with Him?!I don't see acceptance,
Please note that on this forum, we do not say we hate anyone. It's just God Who does; who are we to tell Him He's wrong?!
Why?I browse through these forums and see people using racial slurs and "be afraid of the blacks in their neighborhood corrupting their children" are these things acceptable? Or should we be trying to be more accepting of all of God's children.
Please support your view with the Holy Bible rather than with what you think. We don't care what you think. We only care about what God thinks.
I will pray for your soul.
